Anyway, let's go back to the topic, they were both popular but BB5 is the best IMO and a poll won't change that.
I did create that, but that was for a game about equivelants I was playing.
I only posted using it once because I got banned straight after using it. It was only as a joke to annoy you a little as I know how seriously you'd take it! :laugh2:
Yes, I don't care if overall BB5 is more popular, but I'm sick of people saying BB7 wasn't a huge popular success!
Also, something I've noticed. Most of your favourite housemates are from BB7. Why is that I wonder . . .
Thats what exactly happened to, got banned with new account straight away, and the results of that was automatically changed, I wonder how they haven't found any evidence about this poll, there hasn't been any multi-votes, otherwise it would of automatically be found out.

By the way, a little off topic, are you a Jungle Cats man or a Lip Gloss Bitch.
I'm asking because you have both Jason and Nadia as your favourite housemates.

The show wasn't fixed for Nadia to win. In the first few weeks, the odds on her winning were around 40/1. Where as in BB7, it was definately fixed for Pete to win. Ever since his audition taped was played it was clear he was the winner. BB5 had more characters people could relate to. BB7 just had freaks who had gimmicky personalities.
Just because someone had low odds to begin with doesn't mean it wasn't fixed for them. It turned out Nadia wasn't an instant success, so the producers had to fix it for her, while Pete just happened to be an instant success.
Although I will admit Pete did ruin BB7 completely. Although I'd actually say that if you look further than skin deep the BB7 housemate weren't actually that big freaks. They were put in for being freaks, but I would hardly say Pete or Lea had a freakish personality.
BB7 HM were actually the most intelligent, they imediately used to work out what BB is upto, analyse intelligently about it, Nikki, Rich< Glyn, Ash even mikey were very cunning.

At least Nadia was enetertaining and deserves to be a winner. Even if she wasn't a transexual she would have still won because her personality was so watchable. If Pete didn't have tourettes he would never have won. Lea didn't have a freakish personality? Are you kidding? She was a complete paranoid wreck. Nikki was also a freak, as was Shahbaz (although he was actually hilarious).

I enjoyed both of them, you know, I didn't take part in any group. Something I've done in BB7 with "The Plastics". For me, it means that I enjoyed more the whole BB5 cast than some housemates in BB7.

Only Victor and Jason's fight night kept BB5 good, BB7 had the best female cast, there live show did incredibly better than both 3 and 5, and also had a better live feed.
Oh look at the poll. BB5 has caught BB7 up.

Nadia I watched her quite a bit, she doesn't come accross neither funny or entertaining, cant even understand what the women says TBH.

Nikki was like a Goldie Hawn type character, funny, cute, love many different faces she pulled, loved her wierdness and impression, and rants and funny one-liners, and banters with Richard, she had many different character to her.
Ahmed, Nadia, Dan were all freaks. Michelle Bass was quite strange, she talked load of jibberish most of the time.

I'm afraid to say that you are completely wrong there. Nadia would not have won had she been a normal woman. Don't get me wrong, her personality had something to do with it but it was the transexual thing that brought her to first place.
Even some Nadia fans admit she wouldn't have won.
I actually think that women would have hated Nadia with the same personality but in a normal woman's body.

Yeah it's funny how Nikki was so loved yet was evicted in week 8 (when she was up against the likes of Snoozie).

Big characters usually go in the 8th week, BB3 lasted 9 weeks, so basically if we didn't have new HM, Nikki would of left a week before the final or possibly stay. Still she won a National award.

I think most peoples arguments with Big Brother 7 being poor was they thought the format had been messed with too much and their was too many twists.
And Farhad , feel free to judge BB7 all you like but you cant really talk about BB5 because you did not watch it , you only watched back clips of it on the net afterwards.

Agree completely. The experience isn't the same. Although in fairness, you had to talk about with your mates outside of school (or I did) as it was in the summer.
I have slagged off BB5 for the fact of defending BB7, but if I'm sorry to say farhad, but its probably my third favourite series. I'm so ashamed!

Big Brother was MADE for Live Television. Its a journey. A journey we all travel along with.
Watching a series on youtube is just like reading the travel book , instead of touring their.

Actually it launched on the Friday before the summer half term so 7/8 weeks of it were on while I was at school. I remember that because we had a quiz at school and one of the questions was "who was evicted from Big Brother on Friday" (that's how popular BB5 was, even my science teacher made questions on it).

I remember in reggie, while BB5 was on except like 5 people, no-one was talking about BB5. Then BB6, nobody.
Then BB7 came along and my reggie teacher (a male technology teacher) and the class (19 of us) were all crowding round into one corner, all to talk about BB7.
In BB8 no-one was talking about it either though.

Without Nikki in it, they wouldn't of talked about BB7 a lot. Its her character made it so talkable, the strong dislikers who see her as Hitler or Sadamme Hussain in the Uk and also so many fans as well.

It was all about the Glyn support in my reggie.

If Nikki hadn't of been there, you would of easily forgot about Glyn, Ash fans wouldeasily forgot about her as well.

Two questions.
1) What does Nikki have anyhting to do with remembering Glyn?
and
2) Why do defend BB7 when you all pin down to Nikki. Surely if tis all down to one housemate then it isn't a good series?

Your right. She was the talking point of the series. She got everyone talking about how stupid an idea it was for the producers to put her in because she had mental issues.

Getting the forum to like BB7 is just the first step in his overall plan of getting us all to see Nikki as the greatest thing their ever was. A few of us have been down this road before.

Getting people to dislike her is the overall plan of her detractors, creating same old ant-nikki thread with no logic to the discussion.

Yes, I think you're right.
It doesn't seem to be BB7 hes defending, but Nikki.
I don't even know why farhad is one here since he hated BB8 with a vegeance and the only housemate he liked from BB7 was Nikki.
These were the onyl 2 series he saw and he only truly liked one thing! He doesn't seem to be much of a fan of BB as such, if you get my meaning.

I've watched CBB5 from start to finish, only because of Shilpa Shetty.

Yeah of course it did. You cannot be a true BB fan if you think they were the worst first two weeks in BB history. It had Kitten, the bedsit, fight night etc. It was the best two weeks of BB EVER!

Yes, yes that was all well and good, except Emma was there, which completely and utterly ruined everything.

Every single week in BB5 was brilliant, and the dynamics were constantly changing, without the need of adding lots new characters or lots of intervention from BB.
The first couple of weeks didn't exactly go to plan, as the evictee on the first week was supposed to go to the bedsit, and that plan didn't happen because of Kitten. But BB actually had a back-up plan which saved everything and it was still brilliant viewing.

Emma was an amazing housemate. Even if she irritated you (which I can see how she would to be honest), you can't deny that she was great entertainment and the bedsit wouldn't have been half as sucessful without her.

Jason was in the entire series, I didn't like him at all and he annoyed me so much but that doesn't mean it was a bad series nor does it mean he was a bad housemate. You got it lucky as your least favourite got chucked out just after two weeks!

Yes, but Jason never got the whole bloody show about how by screaming and shouting at the top of his voice and acting like a mentally retarded scum bag (I'm sorry, but I had to say it).
I WANT EMMA TO DIE! She annoyed me that much. Words can't describe how much she annoyed me - honestly!

Like Wasted said, you didn't exactly have to put up with her for long. I disliked Jason but still enjoyed the series (which he happened to be in entirely).

It's just a TV Show and you don't even know her and haven't met her, so that's pretty harsh. It would even be harsh for someone you did know. She was only on your screen for two weeks and that was 3/4 whole years ago now, but you don't seem to have gotten over her.
The term "mentally retarded" is pretty offensive too.
