Duet with 50 Cent?
Rapper 50 Cent has confirmed reports that a duet with Williams is on the cards. He told The Sun Newspaper, "People should look forward to hearing 50 Cent and Williams together. He's keen to explore hip hop. He's got a very distinctive voice, and with the right song we could work well together."New Song recorded!
Williams has recently produced a video for his probable new song, "Bodies". In the two minute video, Williams smokes a cigarette and sings to the tune.New phase of Career to Launch?
There have been rumours in the British tabloids that Robbie will launch the next phase of his career with a performance at the BRIT awards 2008. This has not been confirmed officially.

Aye. And he was doing Nicole Kidman too.

There are hundreds of story around about him.

Scarlett.

if they quote someone by name in a newpaper, it has to be true (or else they can be taken to court), and they quoted 50 Cent by name

Really? Wasn't Jamie Cullum supposed to be doing something with Pharell Williams. That never came about.

Scarlett.

Well both Robbie and 50 are busy so its kinda hard, so it might not happen, he is just keen to sing with him

Robbie Gets Reworked By Top Dutch DJ

Listen to it now and find out how to get your free download...

Sander Van Doorn has got his hands on Robbie's 'We're The Pet Shop Boys' and given it a whole new sound. The Dutch superstar DJ, whose debut album 'Supernaturalistic' was released earlier this year, is currently ranked 15 in the world. He has created such a storm on the global dance scene that he is hotly tipped to take the crown of Best Breakthrough DJ at the DJ Awards this year, held in Ibiza.

The new track, Close My Eyes, is a take on the Pet Shop Boys 2003 b-side, 'We're The Pet Shop Boys' which Robbie covered on Rudebox in 2006. Now 2008 sees the track take yet another direction and is already smashing up dancefloors across the globe.

Premiered on Radio 1 last week, the track is due for a digital release within the next few weeks, so hold tight, we'll be bringing you more information shortly.

this is it from the robbiewilliams site (copy and paste whole link)

Yeah, plus he is managing his LA Vale football team as well
I mean, I bet Robbie said summat like
"I was coming out of the studio and I looked up and saw something like a UFO, although it was probably a plane" or summat like that

"ROBBIE SEES UFO"

Robbie Williams is working on an "amazing" new album, according to one of his best friends.

The 34-year-old ex-Take That star has been holed up in his LA mansion avoiding the limelight recently.
"He is working on a new album. It is some of the best stuff I have ever heard. It's amazing"

But fellow British Hollywood exile Callum Blue, 31, an actor who recently made his name in the US comedy drama Dead Like Me, says Robbie has exciting new material up his sleeve.

Blue said: "He is working on a new album. It is some of the best stuff I have ever heard. It's amazing."

He also revealed Robbie has been seeing a girlfriend for the past year and is "very, very happy".

The singer – who recently came to the end of his four-year recording deal with EMI - is said to be so jealous of his former Take That bandmates success he is plotting his revenge by planning a comeback of his own.

A source close to the singer said: “Things haven’t been going that well for Robbie recently and he’s been having a bit of a break from recording.

“His last album, ‘Rudebox’, was panned by critics, which was made worse by the fact Take That are doing so well, without him.

“Robbie has now decided enough is enough and it’s time to reclaim his crown. He is working on new material and he reckons this is the best stuff he has ever come up with. There could even be another hit like ‘Angels’.”

Robbie’s comeback plans come as Take That are reaching new heights with their reunion.

Their track ‘Rule The World’, written for the film ‘Stardust’, is hotly tipped to be nominated for Best Song at the Oscars, while their album ‘Beautiful World’ is still in eighth position in the UK album charts – despite being released over a year ago.

Frontman Gary Barlow recently rubbished rumours Robbie – who quit the group in 1995 - would be rejoining the band for a one-off performance, saying: “There is no place for Robbie in Take That anymore.”

British pop singer Robbie Williams has launched an award scheme for children at his old school who have succeeded against odds.

According to thesun.co.uk, the children will get signed certificates and handwritten messages from Williams. The 34-year-old singer keeps in touch with the St. Margaret Ward Catholic School and Arts College in Tunstall.

His mother Jan said the awards would go to children who overcame crises at home or coped with disabilities.

Willams himself had to overcome drug and alcohol addiction and depression.

Robbie Williams has split with his long term girlfriend in order to concentrate on recording his new album, according to reports.

The former Take That star, who now lives in Los Angeles, began dating Ayda Field 14 months ago.

But friends have of the singer have now said the romance has ended, leaving Williams “absolutely gutted”.

"He thought Ayda was his soulmate, and the most beautiful woman he has ever met, so he was desperate for it to work,” a friend told the Mirror newspaper.

"Unfortunately, the timing was not right for them, and after being on-off for a while they've finally decided to call it quits.

"They are still very good friends though and she was the only girlfriend his close-knit circle in LA actually accepted and genuinely liked.”

Meanwhile, Williams new album is said to be a return to his early solo work.

He's split from his girlfriend, looks worse than ever and his friends are worried. We reveal why Rob's hiding from the world...

by Gemma White

Fifty-five million album sales (not even including his Take That days), more number ones than you can shake a stick at, billion-dirham recording contracts and a string of A-list girlfriends later, and ROBBIE WILLIAMS has turned into a tubby, unkempt shell of his former self.

Having become a virtual recluse at his LA mansion and ditched his actress girlfriend, AYDA FIELD, celeb pals are said to be worried about the once sociable star…

Doesn’t leave his house
Sources close to the star have revealed Robbie hasn’t left his LA mansion in over 12 weeks, and refused to attend the recent MTV VMAs. Last seen looking bearded and unkempt, Robbie has apparently been devoting his time to trying to discover if aliens exist.

Why? “Rob makes an album, tours, has a nervous breakdown,” revealed pal, NKOTB’s Danny Wood. “Then he makes an album, tours, has another nervous breakdown. That’s what he is supposed to do and that’s what people expect from him.”

Piled on the weight
Robbie’s battle with the bulge has been well-documented, and he famously put on weight after he quit Take That and the strict boy band dieting. And after he disbanded his football team, LA Vale, last year, after discovering that a pair of his teammates had ripped him off to the tune of Dhs1.3 million, he stopped doing any exercise.

Why? Almost completely friendless anyway, the money rows saw Rob lose all of his teammate pals amid a series of huge rows. “He ordered them all out of his house and told them not to come back,” said a pal.

Hurt over criticism
The 34-year-old is said to still be bitter after his last album, Rudebox, was critically panned and failed to sell as well as his previous offerings, and he cancelled his 2006 tour of Asia, citing exhaustion. And Robbie himself proclaimed in 2006, “I’ve got to… see if I want to be part of the machine any more, because I don’t see me singing again.”

Why? Needy and attention-loving, the failure of Rudebox hit him hard. But Danny Wood insists, “Don’t start chucking your record players out of the window, there’ll be another album.”

Robbie Williams's strike is over. The pop singer has set aside his grudges and packed his mining pick - sorry, microphone - and will be returning to the hard slog of singing for millions of adoring fans.

Though it was never officially confirmed, Williams had for months been understood to be striking for music-making, turning his nose up at Guy Hands and the new management at EMI. But according to Williams's manager, Tim Clark, the singer has been writing songs for some time and may release an album next year.

"I would certainly hope that a new album will be coming next year," Clark told BBC Newsbeat this week. "There are never any guarantees but that's what we would hope."

"I was with Robbie last week. He was at home and he was writing songs and he played some of them to us ... We heard some wonderful stuff."

While some of us had imagined Williams in a dark, run-down flat, firing gunshots at a Guy Hands poster and scribbling anti-EMI diatribes all over the walls, Clark painted a different picture. "He's in very fine spirits, in very fine form and I think what he's doing sounds really wonderful," he said.

And although the songs may turn out to be vitriolic hate-letters to studio suits, they will most certainly not be about extra-terrestrials. Clark dismissed rumours that Williams's interest in aliens had trickled down to the songwriting process. "It's been pretty much exaggerated in the press, as if that is anything new," he said

Singer Robbie Williams has met up with his old Take That bandmates while the group were touring in the US.

Take That star Jason Orange told The Mirror that Williams joined the lads for dinner in Los Angeles recently.

Orange said: "Rob's looking really well at the moment."

Argeed, well the second part of what you said anyway. They will never work with each other again,it just won't happen. He left 13 years ago now and people are still going on about it,I wish they would stop, for the fans(of both Rob and TT) sake at least.

Gary Barlow has vowed never to take a flight with anyone more famous than himself.

The singer, who recently flew from LA to London with David Beckham, 33, and Gordon Ramsay, 41, fears no one would care if he were involved in a fatal accident.

‘I could just see how that would be written: “Football star and top chef in plane crash,”’ he tells The Sun. ‘Then in the last paragraph: “Pop singer Gary Barlow was also on the plane.”’

Gary, 37, and Take That stars Jason Orange, 38, Howard Donald, 40, and Mark Owen, 36, recently visited former bandmate Robbie Williams, 34, in LA.

‘Rob’s looking really well at the moment,’ Jason tells the Daily Mirror. ‘We went out for dinner and he was telling us he’s been chilling out and writing a lot.

'I don’t know if it’s all about UFOs but he’ll be bringing something out soon.’

London, Oct 11 (ANI): Popstar Robbie Williams is all set to buy an estate in Los Angeles for a whopping 12 million pounds.

Williams has already signed the contract for the two-acre, seven-bedroom mansion built on a celeb-studded estate in Los Angeles.

The Rock DJ hitmaker will be moving in the Mediterranean style mansion boasting of seven bathrooms, a guesthouse, separate staff quarters and a huge terrace, fountains, a pool, spa, and grand two-storey entrance, with Hollywood actress girlfriend Ayda Field.

Williams bought the fine looking home in Beverly Park Estate, the most high-quality gated community in California, from Hollywood actress Luciana Paluzzi.

Robbie has been looking for a new house for a while. He knew the area he liked and decided it was time to start afresh with Ayda, The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

They had a spell where he was reluctant to settle down but he wants to show her he is serious by moving into a new place together properly, the source added.

Williams new neighbours will include many high profile celebs like Rod Stewart, Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy And Sylvester Stallone. (ANI)

British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS is back to his musical best, according to his former TAKE THAT bandmate GARY BARLOW.
The Angels singer has been on "album strike" due to discrepancies with his record label EMI and its new owners, business giant Terra Firma.
But he recently announced plans to end his two-year career hiatus and release a new album next year (09).
Barlow was treated to a sneak preview of the new tracks - and has given them the thumbs up.
He says, "We had some great hanging-out time with Robbie in Los Angeles and he played us some of his new stuff. It was really good. He started out with us so we have a connection."

ROBBIE WILLIAMS sure knows how to show a girl a good time. I spied him at Blackpool Pleasure Beach with his lady AYDA FIELD.

Visiting Britain for the first time in two years, the LA-based singer, who’s recording a new album, brought his girlfriend (I think She’s The One) to meet his parents — and then enjoy a ride on The Big One.

A friend told me: “He showed Ayda around Pleasure Beach, which was one of his favourite haunts as a kid. Robbie seemed so happy, even when he got soaked on the water ride. It’s like the old Robbie is back.”

And he ended his 11-year feud with former bandmate GARY BARLOW. He hugged the TAKE THAT star at the Arsenal-Man U game yesterday.

Robbie Williams WILL release a new album next year.

That's according to his best friend Jonathan Wilkes, who said that the star had almost finished the record.

Robbie's former band mates revealed earlier this month that they'd heard some of Robbie's new material a few weeks ago when they visited the star at his Los Angeles home.

Mark Owen said at the time: “It's really, really good - in fact it's even better than ours," he said. "I was a bit gutted.

But now Jonathan has revealed to Mirror.co.uk that the singer new album is heading for the shops within the next few months.

Advertisement - article continues below »

Talking at the launch of his pantomime Aladdin in his and Robbie's home town of Stoke-On-Trent, Jonathan said: "He's on really good form. He's enjoying his time off and he's looking forward to releasing new material next year. You can't keep a good man down for long!"

However, when asked if he shared Robbie's passion for aliens, Jonathan joked: "Nah, him and his mate ET, they're staying together!"

As previously reported on Mirror.co.uk, Robbie travelled over to Stoke last month from his Los Angeles a fortnight ago for a holiday and hooked up with Jonathan then.

Meanwhile, Jonathan starts his starring panto role in Aladdin at the Regents Theatre in Stoke from December 18, alongside Coronation Street's Vicky Entwistle.

Robbie Williams fears his comeback will ruin his relationship

6 December 2008

When Robbie Williams and Ayda Field reunited in the summer it was rumoured that he might finally settle down for good.

But the 34-year-old is worried his big music comeback could spell the end of their relationship.

‘Rob’s determined to put out a fantastic new album and he’s stopping at nothing to make it a success,’ a friend tells Now. ‘But he’s seriously concerned that his relationship with Ayda will suffer as a result.

‘His desperation to reignite his recording career is likely to leave her feeling sidelined. Once Rob gets his head down to the business of making music, everyone around him knows that he won’t be distracted.

‘Unless Ayda’s prepared to give up everything and follow Rob around there’s the real possibility that their relationship will be doomed.

But our insider thinks Robbie will regret it if he lets Ayda slip through his fingers.

‘His career may eventually come between them, but after all the hype has settled, he’ll yearn for that companionship with Ayda more than ever. And it may be too late by then.

"ROBBIE WILLIAMS has given his biggest hint yet that he will rejoin TAKE THAT — in the same week he splashed out on a new home back in Britain.
The singer, 34, who has lived in Los Angeles for five years, has had his old group’s symbol tattooed on his right arm. And he admitted last night: “I’d love to be in the band again.”

The US-based Brit forked out £7million on an historic Wiltshire mansion, planned as his base for a charm offensive to promote his new album next year.

He has admitted he is “over the moon” for his old group, now enjoying a hugely successful comeback.

And last night he said he would “love” to rejoin them, quipping: “I’d like to think we’d be the only band in the history of music to get together because of artistic differences.”

Robbie has had the Take That symbol tattooed on his right arm as a sign of support for his chart topping former bandmates — with whom he had hits such as Back For Good before walking out in 1995 amid a bitter feud.

He and singer GARY BARLOW have had formal discussions about recording a one-off reunion gig for a DVD.

They chatted about it again when they met at an Arsenal football match last month.

Last night Robbie, exiled in LA for five years, penned an emotional message about his plans on his Inner Sanctum website.

He said: “Just thought I’d set a few things straight about me and the boys. We got together a lot over the summer. It was amazing. We’ve all matured a lot since we parted. I’m very pleased to say the differences we’ve had have just melted away.

“We had a lot of serious chats. Everything we had problems with each other about just boils down to one thing — victims of circumstance. No one was right, no one was wrong, it just ‘was’.

“We mainly laughed, which is what we used to do in the early days. In fact we didn’t really stop. Bellyache laughs — I’ve missed ’em. Bellyache laughs and the boys.

“After they left I felt like a ton of bricks had been removed from my shoulders. We’d put right what an awful lot of other broken bands fail to do.

“I celebrated by getting the Take That symbol tattooed on my right arm. I’m proud to know the boys and I’m proud to have been in the band.”

Robbie, who became a massive solo star after quitting the group, added: “The thing that struck me the most was how much fun they’re having. It’s more rewarding when you’re a gang. Ever since I left Take That I’ve wanted to be in a band.

“I’m over the moon for the boys. I was worried at first. I was following their meteoric return, but every photo of the lads I saw they didn’t look happy.

“Then they just seemed to take full stride again. Having met up with them I can tell you they’re having a ball.

“I’m really proud. I love the new album too — haven’t stopped listening to it.

“I’d love to be in the band again but I’ve got some unfinished business of my own.”

Gary, 37, and pals MARK OWEN, 36, JASON ORANGE, 38, and 40-year-old HOWARD DONALD have enjoyed huge success since their comeback two years ago.

Last week they sold 432,000 copies of new album The Circus. It has sold 120,000 more this week and is on course for a million sales by Christmas.

The band also sold 700,000 tickets for their stadium tour in a matter of minutes last month.

And a full-scale reunion with Robbie looks more likely now he has purchased his country pile.

The star, who insisted all the furniture was included in the price, bought the 18th-century pad days ago.

It has seven bedroom suites, a sauna, pool, gym, a helicopter hangar and 71-acre grounds.

A spokesman for Robbie refused to comment last night."

Music mogul SIMON COWELL has advised ROBBIE WILLIAMS not to rejoin his former bandmates in TAKE THAT.
The pop star - who quit the group in 1995 - has been dogged by rumours about a possible collaboration with his former colleagues ever since the band reformed in 2006.
And speculation about a possible reunion has rocketed since it was revealed that Williams has been spending time with his former bandmates after healing their rift.
But Cowell is adamant that a reunion would be a risky move for Williams, who enjoyed a hugely successful solo career after leaving the Never Forget hitmakers.
Cowell tells British magazine Heat, "That’s a tricky one. I think I would keep it (Take That) as it is. He (Williams) could do a guest slot now and again. A duet?”
And Cowell admits he would be delighted if Williams would agree to appear on his British TV talent show X Factor for the series finale on Saturday (13Dec08) night.
He adds, "I would have loved Robbie to have been there on Saturday night and it's never too late. He’s still one of the biggest stars in the world. He’s great. I love Robbie."

CHART king GARY BARLOW has signalled he would welcome a sensational TAKE THAT reunion with heart-throb former bandmate ROBBIE WILLIAMS .

And he revealed HE was the man who persuaded Robbie to end his US exile — for the sake of his career.

Gary, whose Take That hits include Relight My Fire, said the pair had shared several long conversations about Robbie’s future.

He said: “The band has been having great fun with Robbie over the last few months and we’ve been talking a lot. It’s been really good getting to know him again. He has sorted himself out and is in a really good place at the moment.

“It’s great news that he’s decided to come back to the UK. I’ve always loved working here and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else — and I’ve been telling Robbie for a while now that he needs to move back.

“I think the time is right for him to come back now. I don’t think the US is the best place for him to be.

“This is where he thrives and is the best thing he can do for his career.

“He’s got a lot of unfinished business here and he’ll be back to his best in no time if he comes home.”

The Sun told exclusively yesterday how Robbie, 34, was preparing to return to the UK next year after living for five years in Los Angeles.

He has bought a £7million mansion in the Wiltshire countryside — and told fans on his website he’d “love” to rejoin Take That, who have enjoyed a hugely successful comeback since reforming two years ago.

Robbie, who scored a string of solo hits after leaving the group in 1995, also revealed that he has had the band’s symbol tattooed on his right arm.

Speaking at Capital Radio’s Jingle Bell Ball in London’s 02 Arena, Gary, 37, said he and the band had never ruled out the idea of Robbie rejoining and admitted they HAD discussed the possibility with him.

He said: “Robbie will not be coming on tour with us next year because he’s got his own things to do.

“But we are not ruling out getting together with him beyond that.”

Robbie walked out on Take That after a series of rows. The band split up a year later and went their separate ways.

Robbie launched a successful solo career and racked up a succession of No1s — including Angels and Millennium.

But he hit the skids with the release of his widely- panned seventh album Rudebox in 2006 and became a virtual recluse in LA.

Meanwhile Take That got back together in the same year and once again became the biggest pop act in the UK.

In the emotional message on his Inner Sanctum website Robbie — who was pictured with Gary at an Arsenal football match last month — said he was thrilled by the group’s remarkable return to the top.

He said: “I’m over the moon for the boys. Having met up with them I can tell you they’re having a ball. I’m really really proud. I love the new album too — haven’t stopped listening to it.”

He added: “I’d love to be in the band again but I’ve got some unfinished business of my own.”

And he signed off by saying: “I’d like to think we’d be the only band in the history of music to get together because of artistic differences.”

Gary previously admitted the majority of the fallouts in Take That stemmed from clashes between him and Robbie.
Guest

Despite his solo success, Robbie maintained a bitter war of words with the band after he left, launching a series of personal attacks.

But this seems to have been laid to rest now.

The prospect of Robbie rejoining Take That brought a mixed response from fans and record industry figures.

Music mogul SIMON COWELL said Gary and his bandmates MARK OWEN, 36, JASON ORANGE, 38, and 40-year-old HOWARD DONALD would be better off WITHOUT Robbie.

He said: “I’d keep it as it is. Robbie could have a guest slot now and again — or a duet.”

Meanwhile, readers flooded on to our online MySun forums to express their views on a reunion — some of which are printed on the right.

Take That’s comeback has proved an amazing hit.

Last week they sold an incredible 432,000 copies of new album The Circus. It has sold another 120,000 so far this week and is on course for one million sales by Christmas.

Robbie Williams is expected to spark a label bidding war when he completes his new album.

A number of record companies are said to be keen to sign the singer when his contract with EMI finishes on the release of his next LP.

Williams, who is preparing to release his new record in September 2009, could follow in the footsteps of U2 and Madonna and sign a deal with concert promoter Live Nation.

"He went into rehab and has spent time getting his head together," a source told The Sun. "But now his next deal could be a record-breaker.

"Word is getting out that his new album is sounding brilliant and the Take That reunion coverage has helped.

"Live Nation would be very keen. They have recently signed Madonna and U2 on massive deals. They could give Robbie a huge contract which would include his releases, live dates and all the extras that accompany that."

Williams's last album Rudebox was released in November 2006. He has since been living in Los Angeles.

Robbie Williams will not rejoin Take That because he wants to focus on his own solo career, according to reports.

The singer was linked once again to his former group earlier this month after he wrote on his official website that he would “love” to rejoin the band.

He has also publicly reignited his friendship with singer Gary Barlow.

However, Williams is now reported to have told his father, Pete, that he is too busy with his own solo material to return to Take That

"Robbie told his dad Pete that he'll be pushing himself back in the limelight - talk of a reunion couldn't be further from the truth,” a source told the Sunday People.

"He might have buried the hatchet with Gary Barlow but the only person Robbie is concerned about selling records next year is himself."

Williams' departure from Take That in 1995 triggered the boy band's initial demise but since reforming without the singer they have enjoyed a hugely successful re-birth.

Williams is currently recording his new studio album which, according to his manager, will be released in 2009.

We predict the comeback of the year for 2009 will be without doubt the one, the only Mr Robbie Williams.

And the man we have to thank for his highly anticipated return to the UK pop charts is Knight of the Realm Sir Tom Jones.

Robbie was planning to disappear into the ether forever, until the big Welshman had a heart-to-heart.

The Sexbomb took on the role of mentor to Robbie after he moved onto the same exclusive estate in Los Angeles.

And to help give him a shove in the right direction Tom even recorded a single with Rob for his new album.

Tom, who made a comeback of his own this year with 24 Hours, told us: "I give advice to some of the young bands if they ask me.

"With Robbie he asked me 'How do you keep going?

I’m starting to wonder about it whether its for me.'

"It's because I love it I told him. But Robbie says sometimes he doesn’t.

"Sometimes he gets a bit down and said once 'sometimes I don’t feel like I’m any good'.

"I told him to just enjoy it, don’t worry about it and stop taking it so seriously.
"You can't be on everynight. Sometimes you don’t get into it as much as you do other nights.

"But if you don’t enjoy it, you're going to struggle and it's like hard work, so don’t do it. "The only time it has ever felt like work for me was when I used to do two shows a day in Las Vegas and I couldn’t drink alcohol.

"I thought Christ this isn’t much fun. "Now I do it at my own pace."

Tom's motivational boost seems to have worked wonders as Robbie is heading to the studio to put the finishing touches to his album at the end of the month.

The former Take That star already has a few tunes up his sleeve - including a rap with Tom.

Tom said: "I live just down the road from him so he said do you fancy coming over and recording some stuff with me.

"He’s got a portable recording studio in his bedroom so that's where we did it.

"He was writing with some English mates of his.

"We did a song, he was rapping on it and I was singing on the chorus but I don’t know what he wants to do with it."

Hmm we'll have to reserve judgement on that one until we hear it!

Rapper 50 CENT is planning to team up with British singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS on a new record.

The In Da Club star was hoping to hook up with Angels hitmaker Williams to record a track for his 2007 album Curtis.

Williams' stint in rehab hindered their plans - but 50 Cent hopes they will be able to sort out some recording time together in the near future.

He tells Reuters, "We actually attempted to do it during the Curtis album and I reached out to him and we talked about recording in Los Angeles and then the next time I spoke to him he was on his way to rehab so that didn't happen then.

“Hopefully on one of my projects in the future we will have a chance to work with each other.”

Mark Ronson has confirmed that he is to produce tracks on Robbie Williams' new album.

Ronson told BBC 6 Music that the pair will travel to Los Angeles this spring to complete work on a song originally penned for the singer's last album.

“He was always fascinated with it so it’s not really a new thing. I am planning to go out to LA so we can finish it together,” he said.

Williams' collaboration with Ronson was originally revealed by his manager last month.

Tim Clark said the singer had recorded a “very interesting song” with the producer, who was responsible for Amy Winehouse's 2006 album 'Back To Black'.

Williams, who is due to enter the studio in March or April, has also written tracks with former songwriter partner Guy Chambers and Soul Mekanik.

The former Take That star's new album, which is due out before the end of 2009, will be his last with EMI.
