This thread is NOT for discussing the merits of the various housemates, but for reporting the current eviction betting odds at the book makers
From OLBG as of 10 June 2008 (http://www.online-betting-guide.co.uk/big-brother-eviction.htm)
Stephanie 1/2
Mario 10/3
Lisa 4/1
Luke 22/1
A number of companies compared (http://www.oddschecker.com/specials/big-brother/first-eviction)
Therefore according to the bookies, Stephanie is favourite for the first eviction, followed by Mario

If only I had the bottle to place a huge bet on steph who appears to be a near certainty...

Some bookies have Mario down to 2-1. I hope he starts getting a bad edit so it becomes more of a two horse race for Friday.

The person with the shortest odds is the favourite to be evicted. So at the moment its Steph.

If the first number is high in relation to the second number, there is a low chance of them leaving, if it's the other way around there is a high chance.
E.g. Steph is 1-2 meaning she is very likely to leave. If you put £2 on her you'd only get £1 back, hence 1-2.
Luke is 22-1 so if you put £1 on him, you'd get £22. If you put £2, you'd get £44 etc because the bookies think he is very unlikely to leave...

There could be a possibility Mario could go because odds are very wrong these days. But i still think Steph will go, but I dont want her to.

Steph is now 2-5, Mario 2-1 on paddy power, so she's still hot fave to go...

Are you sure? I have Steph at 13-18 and Mario at 32-21 on betfair:

Yes, on betfair, Stephanie is favourite to be evicted, but only just. 13-18 as opposed to Mario at 32-21.
But on William Hill, they are neck and neck at 10/11 each. It really could go either way, but I see Mario now being evicted, as the voting tide has turned against him. Lisa and Luke are not even in the running.

It now seems that Mario is the first to go according to the betting odds.

It is almost like BB3 when the four up were Kate Johnny Jade and Adele
Everyone thought Jade would go, but then Adele sneaked through and got one of the highest eviction votes ever at that time.

According to OLBG (http://www.online-betting-guide.co.uk/big-brother-eviction.htm)
Rebecca 1/3
Mario 9/4
It also says
Odds Suggest Mario Is Going
Mario is now 4/9 with Coral and SkyBet to be evicted on Friday whilst Rebecca is 2/1 to go with Stan James. Mario has possibly been the housemate with the most varied popularity. His odds to win BB9 have changed massively from week to week and just when he seems to be building some popularity for himself he normally goes and says something stupid which makes the public dislike him again. His odds to win the show doubled yesterday from 33/1 to 66/1 which is available at Paddy Power and SkyBet.
The usual rule of thumb is that when it is a man versus a woman, according to the YEF effect, the woman gets evicted.
