Davina has made a video on bb website and when talking about the new housemate entering tonight she uses the words THEY are waiting to enter tonight..Dont you think its funny that she says they which means more than one.

It is obvs she means they as in the new housemate, it can be said in different ways

She probably used they to hide the gender.

I think it's just one, like people have said "they" can also be used directly to talk about a single person. :)

'They' is a pronoun which is a gender-neutral person. One single person.

you never know becouse "they" could have been used to hide the gender or it could be more than one person! :tongue:
