Big Brother 10 Pre Season Discussion - Starts July 13

I thought I would make one big thread for all the preseason news, instead of just loads of little ones that ultimatley die a death.

There will be 13 houseguests. Big Brother 8 winner Dick Donato announced on House Calls that Big Brother 10 will feature a wider range of HouseGuests.

After Dark and House Calls will return. Julie Chen will host.

For the first time since BB1 there will be a live audience at evictions.

Expect a lot of older contestants this year though, with Dick winning BB8 and Shelia coming third in bb9. The makers must be wanting some older houseguests.

There's been rumors about a fans v favs, but that won't happen even tho it would be great!

One thing I really want an improvement on is the house. the BB9 house was just not nearly as good as BB8. None the them compare to the BB1 - BB7 houses but still!

BB4's Jack was 58 when he entered the house back in 2003 making him the oldest person in BBUSA. BB3's Gerry was 51 when he played the game and BB2's Kent was one year older then Sheila, 46, when he played the game in 2001.

A 53 year old New Orleans socialite.

A 31 year old who’s from a predominantly white neighborhood, she’s a black mother of 3 and an Obama supporter in Bush country. She has a pair of rare twins.

The son of a Pentecostal preacher.

Wtf, Big Brother US has a completely different format. Series 1 followed our normal format, but even that series in the US begun before Big Brother started here, so technically we 'copied' them - even though that may have been the natural format to use. Get your facts right.

RealityBBQ.com has received a second batch of spoilers from their spoiler source, CornerOfficeX. Before the houseguests went inside the house they had to select the first HoH, Head of Household, based on first looks. Surprisingly they all selected Jerry MacDonald, the 75-year-old Great-Grandfather from Magnolia, Texas. Being selected as the first Head of Household puts Jerry’s initial strategy in jeopardy. He originally wanted to avoid becoming HoH early in the game so he can create a strong alliance, called the X-Factor, between the first four HoH’s. According to CornerOfficeX Jerry wants to choose his nominations from a random hat drawing. However, doing so is against one of the house rules. How will Jerry cope with his new found power in the Big Brother house? Will he adapt his strategy or come up with a Plan-B? Also, Big Brother Slop has returned! The first Food Competition was held on the second day and half of the house has been placed on the nutritionist meal that former Houseguests says tastes like sandpaper, literally.
Renny Martyn, the New Orleans socialite, is “rubbing people the wrong way.”
Jessie Godderz and Memphis Garrett have bounded.
Ollie is keeping a low profile.

The cast is 10x more diverse than BB9 (every housemate was like in their 20's and just on in their 40's that series, they were all idiotic wannabes)

The BB10 cast is the most diverse in a long long time, age range from 22-75, people from all walks of life.

I think Memphis' real name is Brian. Or it could be Ollie, I'm sure it's one of them that aren't using their real name.

I think the extra space is just because that was before the house was fully complete. It's probably been removed now.

No, a girl named Sarah did interview the houseguests (along with Diane), but it wasn't BB6's Diane. This Sarah is with CBS2.com. And Jen did another seperate interview, and revealed that Memphis's real name is Bobby. Ollie's real name is Bryan.

Yeh I realised that it wasn't Sarah awhile ago. But that is BB5's Diane. Where can I find the Jen interview?

Thats what I got when I googled it, theres a picture of a houseguest, a bio and "jens take." There was one where its just Jen's take but I can't find it anymore. She did this for BB9 too, its not a video though just her writing. If you search around msn.com you might find it.
