Finally caught up, loved the new episodes, though I still think S1 had more punch. Although I'm really looking ofrward to seeing Valley Girls, I'm also a tad pissed cos it means we're going to see less of Georgina's plan as a result.

It's such a shame Michelle Tratchenberg is starring in the awful looking hospital show Mercy next year, she should become a full time cast member she suits the part of Georgina so well.

That's two weeks later than we originally heard, but still, hooray!

Interestingly, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill are trading their Monday time slots this upcoming season, meaning Gossip Girl will now air at 9 p.m.

The 21-year-old singer/actress will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).

US retail chain Target has apparently pulled out of a deal to carry a Gossip Girl-inspired fashion line.

Producers of the popular CW show are said to be furious that the stores do not want to be associated with the series, the New York Daily News reports.

"One of Target's top executives got nervous about being that closely associated with the show, given the [debauchery] its characters get into," said an on-set source.

The garments will have been created by Anna Sui, who still has a non-Gossip Girl clothing deal with Target. However, executives for the store reportedly shut down production on a photoshoot at the designer's flagship New York branch, which were to feature Blair (Leighton Meester) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) in a party setting.

"The crew was thrown into frenzy because they had to scrap everything they had planned," the insider added. "They can't believe Target would bail on them, especially after publicly announcing the collaboration. It's Target's loss, because the line would have sold better if it had played a part in the show."

Target's management had no comment on the situation.

Tyra Banks is coming to the Upper East Side this season.

A source confirms to People that the America's Next Top Model host will be showing off her acting skills on the CW show in an episode during Gossip Girl’s upcoming third season, which returns Monday, September 14.

No word on the role to be played by Tyra Banks, who becomes the latest high-profile guest star to be announced for Season 3, following in the footsteps of singer and actress Hilary Duff, who will play a love interest for Dan.

The Duff signing was met with less than universal praise, to say the least, from some fans who think the show is better off casting newcomers than known celebrities.

The only character I dislike is Dan, He is the 'Marissa' of Gossip Girl. His character annoys me, he is completely self righteous, ends relationships for little reason ETC. I can't see how anyone could like him, He's just so annoying.
