I can't wait! I really hope Dan and Serena get back together but at the same time I want Lily and Rufus to be together too!

But I've been reading the GG official "blog" thing which kinda gives teasers about second series - and apparently D was "spotted" flirting with some girls. I hope it's not true, I liked Dan when he was nice and innocent and loyal, haha (though that was pretty buggered up after Georgina!).

Spoilers have emerged from the first Hamptons-based episode of The CW's delicious teen soap "Gossip Girl" which kicks off its sophomore year on September 1. The episode featuring a shirtless shot of Chace Crawford's character Nate in his underwear will be filled with steamy, but secretive summer sex.

Nathaniel Archibald turns into a boy toy as he begins a secret affair with a married older woman named Catherine Mason. But as the couple get together for yet another hot appointment of afternoon sex, Catherine panics at the sound of her husband's car pulling into driveway.

Meanwhile, Dan (Penn Badgley) gets a little make-out action of his own as he seduces a beautiful girl at the library where he assists Sebastian Harris, a man described by the writers as a "literary lion." But the apprenticeship comes to an abrupt end, when Dan lets Sebastian down.

As far as Kristin has heard, Michelle Trachtenberg has not been asked to return for season 2.

"[Gossip Girl creator Josh Schwartz] has told everyone that everyone is coming back and that it's going to be like a crazy, wild cast of a million people," Kristin reported Trachtenberg as saying. "So I'd love to, I think it'd be great fun. It's a character I've just thoroughly enjoyed...and pretty sexy."

We ended last season of Gossip Girl with all the main characters ostensibly swapping romantic partners. Dan (Penn Badgley) and Serena (Blake Lively) broke up, not in small part due to Georgie's meddling. Serena turned her attention toward Nate (Chace Crawford), while Dan and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) seemed to get cozy in Brooklyn. Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) seemed to be headed for a summer of coupled bliss in Tuscany, but each turned their attention toward new interests.

The question is, what is going to happen to each of these couples come fall?

Well, according to Kristin, the future is not looking good for Dan and Serena. In season 2, these two erstwhile lovebirds will be anything but happily in love. As for Chuck and Blair? Well, fans of this naughty duo can shout for joy (or celebrate by destroying a nemesis or two), for Kristin hears that they will actually become "the couple" of the show very soon. How very Cruel Intentions!

Nate will have a lady in his life as well who will cause him much angst, but it won't be Serena or Blair. Dan will spend the summer working for a Norman Mailer-esque character.

According to Kristin's inside sources at the CW, there may also be some shakeups in the network. CW president Dawn Ostroff is reportedly looking for a new job. Thankfully, this will not affect our beloved Gossip Girl at all.

Meh. Maybe Chuck was just saving the dude’s digits in order to “keep his options open” That would really spice up things on the show. While I’m glad that they are infusing fresh blood into the show, I doubt his arrival will be as exciting as the arrival of Georgina Sparks, played by Michelle Trachtenberg, was at the end of last season. Tho, considering the way the producers ended her run on the show (I felt it was INCREDIBLY LAME the way she exited the show simply by way of Blair telling on Georgina to her parents) I’m hoping they’ll be more creative with this new guy. He looks a bit old, don’t he? Maybe it’s the lighting but he looks too old to be a high school student … unless Blair will be gettin’ her freak on with an older man. Dun. Dun. Duuuuun. Now, that would be exciting, too … tho, I’d still prefer it if Chuck kept his options open

Yeah the books are different. I loved them before I saw the show, but now I prefer the show. S is much more likable than when she's in the books.

The thing that scares me about this show is that, like with skins, once they graduate from highschool they'll all be going to different colleges so the characters won't be together anymore.

I suppose they'll just bring in a new generation but rather htan like Skins, they'll probably gradually introduce them with the help of J and E. Some of them will probably go to college in NYC. It wouldn't surprise me if N didn't go to college at all! Why is V the same age as D but yet we never see her in school? I hope they don't do like the OC and try keep all the characters after they go to college, so there's all these new characters and it's soo confussing and look what happened to the OC as soon as they did that!

I'm more of a C+B person and I really hate J. I hate the way she tries to fit into the "in" crowd.

Theres a spin off of Gossip Girl called The It Girl that focuses on J trying to be the it girl at her new school. They might try that but I don't think they can make J on the show as likable as J in the book. Theres also another series thats like a sequal to Gossip Girl named The Carlyes(sp?)

The season finale was amazing, I loved what Blair did to Georgina but I do hope she returns in the future. Dan annoyed me greatly, I can't really stand his character way too self righteous. I loved the scenes between Blair and Chuck and I hope they get together properly next season since their the best characters and have the best chemistry. I'm really rooting for Nate and Serena and I want them to get together next season.

I can't wait for season 2!

Even though season 1 was great there do need to be some improvements for next season. It needs to have deeper story lines and reflect real life a little more.

Michael Kors gets Gossip Girl guest spot

US designer Michael Kors will guest star in a New York Fashion Week themed episode of hit TV show, Gossip Girl.

The designer filmed scenes this week at NY's Capitale on the Bowery, where a fashion show was filmed.

Speaking to WWD, Kors revealed that he was a big fan of the series. 'I love the clothes, everyone is good-looking, the plot line is a riot,' he said. 'I love the show. They called and said, "You are very Gossip Girl," I thought, "Finally, I am a teenager."'

He adds, 'Probably to the consternation of certain people on the Upper East Side, they really get it. It’s a pretty clear picture of how a lot of these kids really are.'

Holland, who played Marissa Cooper's devilish little sis, Caitlin, on The O.C., is in negotiations to join The CW's Gossip Girl (which debuted to strong numbers last night) for a three-episode arc, according to a GG source. Holland would play Agnes, a young model for Eleanor Waldorf who befriends Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) but also tries to tempt her over to the dark side (think threesomes and stripteases).

A death to come on Gossip Girl? OMG — say it ain't so!

While attending Mohegan Sun's Wind Casino celeb-filled grand opening this past weekend, we bumped into Jessica Szohr (Vanessa) on the red carpet, and got some shocking scoopage on what's to come for Vanessa and the Gossip gang.

"There's a lot going on," said Szohr. "There's a love triangle between Vanessa, Nate and Jenny, there's a funeral...." Catching herself before she said too much, she then added, "That's all I can say. We can't talk about it!"

Though Szohr was mum on who kicks the bucket, she did hint that as far as Vanessa's love life goes, "There's some flirtation with Chuck Bass coming up — but I think she still misses someone else."

Who do you think will be the one to die this season? We can't imagine any of the main kids getting offed so soon in the series, but then again, anything can happen on television.

"Gossip Girl" extends its TV season

Exclusive: The CW Wants More 'Gossip Girl'

Gossip Girl's ratings aren't the only thing growing this season.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the network has ordered two additional episodes of the show, bringing its season 2 total to 24.

The move comes as the gap between Gossip Girl's massive hype and relatively paltry ratings has finally started to narrow. The soap is up double digits over last season, and its sophomore surge has even helped lift its lead-out, One Tree Hill, which thrills me to no end.

BTW, Gossip Girl is all new tonight. It's the episode where Serena and Blair beat the crap out of each other and I, in turn, thank God for inventing TV.

According to W, the pair and Chace Crawford were stuck in the Dallas airport yesterday (pictured here). According to a spywitness, Jessica, 23, and Ed, 21, were spotted flirting AND kissing.

I'm scared for GG though because with Josh (creator) he tends to get really repetitive with his writing, especially with his teen dramas. With The OC, it got pretty bad in its third season and it was the same plots over and over. Luckily all the actors are confident it'll go on for four seasons, so if it does get boring with the cast it'll probably won't affect the show that much.

Break out those leg warmers, Gossip Girl fans! The CW has announced that a pilot for a potential spin-off series, created by GG executive producers, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, is on the way. The show will actually be a prequel, focusing on Serena’s momma, Lily Van Der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford, pictured), as a troubled teenager in 1980s Los Angeles. According to an early plot description, we’ll see young Lily move out of her wealthy parents’ home in Montecito to live with her outcast sister in the Valley, where she’ll attend public school and experience the glitz of Hollywood and the excess of the Sunset Strip. No word on if a young Rufus (Matthew Settle) shows up, but I could totally see Lily running into Lincoln Hawk on Sunset Boulevard.

The pilot, which is still untitled and hasn’t been cast, will air on May 11 in place of a Gossip Girl episode; the spin-off has not yet been greenlit as a full series. Originally, there had been rumors that producers would center a spin-off on Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen), but those rumblings were quickly shot down. By choosing to do a prequel, Gossip Girl doesn’t have to deal with the loss of any of its talented ensemble.

Break out those leg warmers, Gossip Girl fans! The CW has announced that a pilot for a potential spin-off series, created by GG executive producers, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, is on the way. The show will actually be a prequel, focusing on Serena’s momma, Lily Van Der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford, pictured), as a troubled teenager in 1980s Los Angeles. According to an early plot description, we’ll see young Lily move out of her wealthy parents’ home in Montecito to live with her outcast sister in the Valley, where she’ll attend public school and experience the glitz of Hollywood and the excess of the Sunset Strip. No word on if a young Rufus (Matthew Settle) shows up, but I could totally see Lily running into Lincoln Hawk on Sunset Boulevard.

The pilot, which is still untitled and hasn’t been cast, will air on May 11 in place of a Gossip Girl episode; the spin-off has not yet been greenlit as a full series. Originally, there had been rumors that producers would center a spin-off on Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen), but those rumblings were quickly shot down. By choosing to do a prequel, Gossip Girl doesn’t have to deal with the loss of any of its talented ensemble.

I read about this just, I think it's quite interesting and brave to do a series set in the 80's when the core target audience wasn't born until the 90's. I think it's got potential.

Ooh i hope i dont get bored of C&B there my faves lol. But yeah same here i prefer the episode when Vanessa is in it lol. My faves are those 3 though. Ive never been keen on Serena for some reason and Dan bores me.. Jenny isnt too bad but i really wanted her and Nate together loved the episode where they kissed lol..

I liked the episode and I liked how they skipped on all the Dan/Serena angst and just put them back together since it would have been annoying otherwise. As always Chuck and Blair were the best characters and I can't wait to see what happens with them this series. I'm glad they gave quite a bit of time to Eric and Jenny as they're friendship was an underexplored element in the last series.

No Doubt have revealed that they will be appearing on a forthcoming episode of The CW's Gossip Girl.

The indie-ska band, which is fronted by Gwen Stefani, announced that they were reuniting after a five-year hiatus in November.

Writing on their official website, the group confirmed that they will perform new single 'Stand And Deliver', a cover of the Adam And The Ants song, on an episode of the show to air May 11.

Earlier this week, No Doubt ruled out releasing a new album until they complete their North American tour, which starts in New York on May 3.

Sebastian Stan will reportedly return to CW's Gossip Girl later this year.

The actor, who plays wealthy St. Jude's graduate Carter Baizen, first appeared in the drama in 2007 when his character escorted Serena Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively) to the cotillion ball.

According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, Stan will reprise his role for at least two episodes in a storyline that will see him "attempting to mess with Chuck (Ed Westwick) and hook-up with Blair (Leighton Meester)".

Stan, who recently appeared in Hayden Panettiere's music video for 'Wake Up Call', has been dating Meester since last year
