Yeh I do, but after a few listens, you do realise its a lot different. They were both written by Ryan Tedder, so he must have the same sound.

Thats really good, because they are currently being slated by critics. I genuinly believe there is a song for everyone on the album, Britney fans will love it for 'If I cant have you', My December fans will love it for 'Cry' and 'If no one will listen', Pink fans will love it for 'Dont let me stop you' and 'All I ever wanted'

A bit for everyone, I love how versatile Kelly is.


Anyway I am getting the album tomorrow, as I couldnt find the deluxe version in tesco or WHSmith, so I will get it while I am in manchester tomorrow.

Well critics are stupid :P It's a great mix of Breakaway and MD,which is perfect for everyone! There isn't one bad song on it.

I love the album, it's absolutely brilliant. My favourite album of the year so far, and I agree with Laura, there's not a bad track on it. My favourites include Cry, If I Can't Have You, I Do Not Hook Up, Long Shot, I Want You and If No One Will Listen. I love the beat in If I Can't Have You especially. I hope the album gets #1 in the UK and US. I am going to be playing it on repeat for days, usually with albums there are at least two which aren't my cup of tea but I can't find any faults with this album.

I seriously didn't think I would make it out! It was a death trap!

I was so close to the front I was quite Lucky.

There was loads of people I was so hot It was like 28.C all Night :mad:

There was a few fights because people had been there before 9.00am just to be in the front and people were coming like 30 mins before the concert trying to get in the front. :mad:

OMG She is amazing Live, She looked like she was out of breath sometimes with the running about but her voice didn't sound that way at all.

She made loads of jokes like "Do you know what the worse thing about singing live is? If you need to burp then you are stuck" and "What does your T- Shirt say? I wanna do..... Ohhh Duet with you, I was gonna say this is a Family show". The fan was blowing her too much so she pushed it with her foot and said "I am getting a leg workout (She was bare footed on stage) ". :love:

It was her guitarist's birthday so she sang him Happy Birthday :lovedup: It was AMAZING!

At the end she said Goodbye and everything and 30 seconds later came back saying "My life would suck without you" and she sang it. It was so cute.

It was WILD!

Her version was awful lol, I like the choice I think it will be a big hit, I want a rockier song next, WYWBMD or AIEW.

I dont think she has a stylist atm, but she has said in interviews she doesnt care about how she looks, she is quite confident she can be successful on her talent alone, no weight loss or stylist. She qould much prefer where jeans and a t-shirt. I dont see why she doesnt just do that! haha.

We've already spoken to Katy Perry about her relationships with Rihanna, Josh Groban and Zooey Deschanel, but what we haven't discussed is her link to Kelly Clarkson. Perry co-wrote two songs on Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted album: her new single "I Do Not Hook Up" and "Long Shot."

Perry wrote "Hook Up" with new "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi and producer Greg Wells and "Long Shot" with noted songwriter/producer Glen Ballard and Relient-K frontman Matt Thiessen. So how did a pair of her songs end up on Clarkson's album?

"Kara and I and one of my producers, Greg Wells — when I was writing for this record that took five years and [encompassed] all these songs — we got together in a studio and we wrote a song for my record called 'I Do Not Hook Up,' but it didn't make it on my record," Perry said. "Just because there were so many different songs and there were only 12 slots allotted for the record, so ... it was kind of one of those songs that was just, like, still there. And Kelly Clarkson heard it. I guess she liked it, and she recorded it — and another song too."

So does Perry harbor any hard feelings toward Clarkson for snatching the songs away from her? Not exactly. Seems things have worked out pretty well for all parties involved.

She admits that although she is more offended when people criticize her music, she has caught a glimpse of what people have said about her looks and she admits that it does hurt. "I mean, I'm a person, so obviously it hurts you at some point on some level - but I think I've been this girl since I was on 'Idol.' I'm the same person," she said. "I ain't gonna change. It's apples and oranges. Some people like it, some people don't."
She added that she prefers to read books instead of gossip blogs and says that after seven years in the industry, she isn't ready to change. "I mean, I've never been that girl and I've been in the industry for seven years, so obviously everybody doesn't do it," she said. Very late reply, but it is known already that she recorded off them but they went to her to sell the songs to her, she didn't steal them. She has also recorded a song of an unknown undiscovered songwriter. This happens in the industry, fact of life.

But kelly is still writing, and 'Already gone' is co-written by her. Which by the way, has just had its video filmed in canada and it was directed by Joseph Kahn the most popular director in the music video business (Think 'Toxic' and 'Behind these hazel eyes')

Just seen the leaked video! She looks absolutely stunning, the idea of the video is that Kelly is a ghost... and she is in a big glamorous mansion, there are many shots some of her in a golden silky dress and others with her holding a white flower in a black gown... almost like a funeral.

There are lots of shots of floating violins and pianos playing themselves, hinting more ghosts are with her. But the version I have seen... it cuts the song up to be quite short... its 3:45 but I heard the actual version is about 4:20... missing the last chorus. At the moment it looks pretty but doesnt make sense, I am hoping there is a bit more to the video... if thats it I am a bit dissapointed!

I wouldn't class this as a Joseph Kahn directed video, Kelly's management basically refused all his ideas and this isn't Joseph's final cut. Joseph has made it more than clear that this music video is not how he wants it.

Britney also came up with the concepts of her videos also, I think Joseph is just there to steer ideas along the way and state which ideas are suitable and what not. I think most of his products are the ideas of his clients and not of those himself. I do adore his videos though, and Kelly looks stunning in hers. :lovedup:

No what I mean is, he has been following a story Kelly has come up with and has thrown in his own ideas, done the video shoot, and whilst editing Kelly's management have jumped in and said they do not like his work and have took out all the big parts he liked... he has mentioned on his twitter that its a 'meatloaf' of a video. Basically meaning its boring.

idk, i feel this era's been rather controlled, I don't feel like she's had as much input as Breakaway/My December. Maybe she did, but what with the lack of writing credits, covers of Katy Perry/random bands demos and stuff, I just. idk.
It's a good album, I'm just not as hooked on her as I was with the previous 3 albums, they got me really addicted to her and I'd play them a lot.
I've only really played MLWSWY, Already Gone and DLMSY consistently from AIEW.

Kelly Clarkson "Already Gone" and Beyonce "Halo" issue

Hey everyone, Ryan here. So.....i'm in Europe on vacation with my wife yesterday when I get a flurry of emails with links to gossip sites and media outlets saying "Kelly clarkson throws producer Ryan Tedder under the bus re: Already Gone" etc etc etc... Alleging that I copied myself or "pulled a fast one" on Kelly Clarkson. This couldn't be farther from the truth and the whole thing is absurd....however, I need to actually read what the hell is going on, make a call or 2, and be fully informed of it, then I assure you I will have a proper, respectful response. I don't take allegations of this nature lightly- ESPECIALLY when it's in regards to artists I respect and admire. Nor do I let things like this go unaddressed. So, give me a minute, and I'll tell u whatsup and what really happened, or in this case, "didn't" happen.

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Kelly Clarkson's record label is super pissed about the original American Idol shooting off her mouth about the drama surrounding her latest single, Already Gone.

And she might pay for it big time!

The story we're hearing is similar to Kelly's - she did, in fact, request that the song not be released as a single and the label denied this request. However, it was more a of a "do or die" situation for Clarkson, as the label actually told her that if they weren't allowed to release the single, they would be "done" with the album. No more money for videos, no more singles, no more promotion.

They compromised, releasing the single but allowing Kelly only to perform it acoustically (and re-arranged) in concert and on TV - her desire.

Now, because she opened her trap, the label is returning to their original threat and will attempt to kill the album, meaning " no more promo, no more singles, no more money into it." This might signal the end of Kelly Clarkson's relationship with Clive Davis, adding a more "cooperative " (aka naive) pop/rocker to the roster, like current Idol season finalist Alison Irehita.

All this gossip is un real lol, Ryan T knows he used the same backing track on both songs, there is no way to talk his way out of it because everyone can tell they sound exactly the same. And Kelly's record label are horrible and she is being forced to be the star she doesn't want to be.

One more album with RCA and her contract is up so she can leave that awful place, and she gets to release her real music.

The former American Idol winner revealed that she has been in contact with a variety of producers for the follow-up to 2009 bestseller All I Ever Wanted.

My personal opinion on that is that Kelly wants to get too her 6th album, that is when her American Idol contract finishes (finally) and she can join a new record label and create music she WANTS too make, she is really into her songwriter/acoustic/country stuff at the moment and she can't do it, because its not pop.

BBP the first time you hear it after that it just annoys the tits off of you. Already gone was a very underrated song.
