I loved tonight's episode! It was so sad but really good aahhhh mixed emotions! I think I felt the most sorry for Pandora though, right at the end, that started out really sweet that Cook would play Twister with her after everyone had gone, and then he went and took advantage grrr.

I'm glad we saw some focus on Emily/Naomi though! I'd quite like to see JJ get some meaningful screen time now, so far we've established he's quite socially awkward and gets "locked on" easily. I really wanna give Pandora a hug ahh! Like at the start when she's trying to cheer Effy up and Effy says "why are we friends?" and Pandora says something like "you're the coolest ever, and I'm your friend because I'll do anything you tell me to and none of your boyfriends want to surf me because I'm useless."

Stop putting yourself Panda! :hugesmile: Yeah I loved that episode basically.

I didn't mind the last episode, I thought it was getting a bit lame with Freddie being an ass to his sister for the entire episode, but I'm glad he got over it at the end. I liked the ending of it, Cook and Effy seem to use each other for cheap thrills and it's not really clear why - Effy seems to acknowledge that she doesn't really want Cook, and Cook's just interested in getting laid all the time.

Last night's eppy was the best of what has been a poor series so far. I'm looking forward to JJay's show next week though.

I think the best character in terms of what they bring to the show is Cook, but most likeable IMO is Pandora.

Yeah that episode really livened up after half an hour, up there as one of my favourites. I also take back my slight feelings of annoyance at Emily from last week. I genuinely think this cast is better than last year's, and that despite Cook/Effy/Freddie (equivalent of Sid/Michelle/Tony, really) I think that the rest of the cast actually outshine that storyline, particularly Emily, which I'm grateful for, because I'd hate for this series to turn into a carbon copy of the last cast!

The episode was very good, not as good as last week's but still great. I really like all the characters apart from Freddie and Katie. Freddie's never happy, never fun but always annoying, Katie should have been left in the forest for the remainder of the series.

I really like Effy, I just wished she introduced Mr Rock to Freddie while she was at it. Next week's looks good although it's partly katie's episode.

The twins episode is the one I've most been looking forward to all series. Hopefully it will be really interesting, finding out more about their relationship.
I think the whole twin concept is such a cool, fun idea. Then to have one be gay, adds a whole new level. Really do love it !!! :love:

And it will have even more to it now, after everything that happened in the previous ep for them. (Katie nearly dying etc.)

Then, from the trailers and ep description, there is going to be loads of really big new stuff going off between them, that looks soo good! :spin: And classic twin stuff, pretending to be each other etc, which is always a good thing! :bigsmile:!!


Then to top of all that loads of Emily and Naomi stuff! :lovedup:


Also it looks like a good episode just in general anyway, seeing how everyone is dealing with the aftermath of the last episode.
Plus it being the penultimate episode of the series they are going to be gearing up to the big finally episode.

I totally agree with you about the skins cast!

I didn't really like skins until this series. All the characters were too self destructive.
It was just bad stuff all the time.
Yes life can be really bad but it can also be good.
I find it sooo annoying the way people act like skins is more realistic because of all the messed up c**p that happens in it.
If anything it makes it less realistic.

Don't get me wrong, I do think it's good to show bad things and it can make really good, emotional scenes. But when it doesn't have any structure to it, it's just a big mess of on going crap it's just no good.
Takes away from the original impact. Not to mention no fun to watch. At least not for me anyway.

That is the sign of very bad writing. They couldn't be bothered to conclude the story in any proper way so they just . . . didn't. The worst part is we'll have to sit through at least another 3/4 epeisodes in S4 of this never ending story.

Totally disapointing, there was no drama and no resolution to the tedius love triangle meaning we're gonna have to suffer with it again in Series 4. Freddie was tedius as ever, he really has no characterisation doesn't he? I think he's character is literally built around his looks sicne he has no personality to speak of. he's dull and if I got the chance him and Katie are characters I'd axe. They add nothing but Tedium to the series.

Such a lazy finale, What were the writers thinking? Where was the other characters? I don't want another repeat of Tony, Sid and Michelle that storyline was boring and so is this. Next series shouls shy away from the love triangle and focus more on JJ, Naomi, Effy and Emily, Pandora and Thomas as they are the most interesting characters.

I don't get why everyone is so let down about the finale, I don't know what people expected to happen!
It was all about the main charactors Effy JJ Cook and Freddy, so there was no need to include Emily etc although it would have been nice, but it is a cliffhanger hence when Freddie said at the end, something like "what we gunna do now/next"
I cant wait for the next series, plus you got to see a different side to Cook at the end when he was crying etc, and JJ got tough with Effy which I thought was hilarious "stop with the ooooh im so fit and mysterious" lol
