Hii,
Ok this may sound a bit weird to some of you but something rather new to me has just happened and i need some help.
Today i got a text of a girl who is in year 9 [were friends] and the text was just simply asking me how i was so i replied saying that i was revising and how i was bored. So she text me back saying she knows something that would cheer me up so i asked her what that was. She replied saying:

'Youre actually really fit ;)'

So i was like omg is she being serious. So i asked her if she was and she said:

'Yeah :)
Oh didnt i tell you i was bisexual?'

But she didnt and ive just realised that most of my friends think shes a lesbian because of the way she acts around me. E.g - Constantly coming up to me and giving me really long hugs etc.. and saying how she loves my hair and makeup. Anyway i fowarded the messages to a very close friend and she called me and said she wouldnt tell. I have no problem with her being bi but the thing is im scared now incase i act differently around her but i need to make it clear that im straight :conf2: And im rather scared because a couple of weeks ago my friend Lianne was messing around on my phone and sent a text to her and several other girls saying that i was in love with them for a joke. Im scared now incase she thinks that the text was true but i was just scared to admit it. Ahh and my mum totally heard my conversation over the phone which is even more embarassing! :bored: But yeah, do any of you have any advice, because i know when i see her im gonna feel so awkward?

---

ALL IS SORTED NOW.. THANKS FOR THE HELP

Tell her you're not into girls.

The getting someone else to tell her you're straight is a good idea I think. It might be a tad uncormtable to do it yourself. Although you shouldn't worry too much about it

Xtina, you should go to her and have a word .. don't get others involved. Just tell her yer flattered she fancies you but that yer not into girls, and hope ye can still be friends.

Being Bi is difficult. The best thing to do is talk to her FACE TO FACE, it might be hard to speak to her but it's SO much better than texting. Her being Bi shouldn't make you act different. Don't see her as bi, see her as a normal person. :). Main thing is DON'T LET IT AFFECT YOUR FRIENDSHIP.

Hahaha. When i told a close friend i was Bi for the first time she FLIPPED and said that. I found it funny. It got worse when i told her i fancied her boyfriend LMFAO. The same day she stepped in dog mess. Serves her right. After a couple of days she saw the funny side, we are mates now.

Oooh tough situation Christina. Well as long as you don't make any suggestions to her that you're attracted to her there's no reason to say it outright to her - because that could hurt her feelings, you're a great girl and if you know you don't want to be awquard around her, then you wont be, just go with the flow
