Sharon Osbourne is about to sign up for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The former X Factor judge is set to infuriate former boss Simon Cowell by joining the talent show's ratings rival, meaning she will go head-to-head with Simon on Saturday nights.

According to The Mirror, Sharon has told friends she is 'definately' going on Strictly - for a fee of around £100,000.

Sharon's defection to the BBC will be a huge slap in the face for Simon - who she clashed with over a row about her X Factor salary.

A BBC source told the paper: "Sharon is already a huge name in TV and music, so she is perfect for the show.

"The fact she has been on X Factor means that she is sure to have plenty to say when the two shows launch.

"Sharon verbally agreed the deal several days ago and will sign contracts in the coming weeks. She is so excited she is already telling her friends. Cowell won't thank her."

The new series of Strictly begins in the autumn.

Sharon should just stay on Americas Got Talent.

She was ment to join ht elast two series and didn't, and the US version aswell.

also, I read this as she would be joining as a contestant - not a judge.
