Why didn't you respond in the thread where I called you out about the NY subway - why can you not admit to being wrong? How does black pepper grow? Why isn't cocaine grown domestically instead of importing, isn't yoghurt just off milk, why do I like the taste of lego and does air freshener taste so good.

No thats a normal reaction from McCoys S&V, everything is going to be alright, if you do have any further problems click your heels together and say 'there's no crisps like walkers' three times over.
You'll either be taken out of Oz or Beetlejuice will turn up.

Crisp sandwiches are always better with thin sliced white bread but I just don't see it anymore. Crisps have to be S/V with added salt and a few drips of Encona hot pepper sauce.
I'm salivating.
I like either very subtle S&V (Kettle chips) or very sour (Walkers usually). Kettle chips are godly.

No apparently she went to the Dr's and they gave her a course of medicine, think it was called Vaginoplasty or something. Her english wasn't great, but obviously better than my thai.

Oh most definately, you can hide behind the bread, but tapas is all small things, which you can't really hide behind, you can use the fork, but that just makes it seem like your in prison looking through the bars like.
You have to get the correct drinks with it as well, you can't hide behind a glass of water, but you can a glass of red. But some times the bar staff are distracted for some reason or another.

Actually that sounds kinda nice, I mean I know some people that put them in Sweet N Sour sauce, and that works.
Another silly crisp sandwich related crime (to keep on topic of course) is when people ask for explanations of things even when they already understand the situation. I know someone that seems to do that all the time, I can only believe its done for solely their amusement.
Also men that leave the toilet seat up, especially at night, when you sometimes just assume its going to be there, they should be shot as well.

What do they ask you to explain like??
Mostly jokes, but they seem to call me out on the ones that are more innuendoey (hmm, Im guessing thats not a spelling mistake more so that that word is made up).
I swear though they only do it to make me squirm a bit, that is unless they get some sort of perverse pleasure out of it.
Still, at the end of the day I get to sit down with a nice crisp sandwich, and as I eat said sandwich, chewing with my mouth closed (a lesson Sophie could learn) I think back and plan my revenge tactics.
Why do we torment the ones we like?

Morning Enid, well you just can't keep a good thread down, and seeing as how most of the threads on BB11 are the same people having the same argument over multiple threads it was a good idea to get snacking again.
It helps I got some smoke last night, and its just too damned hot to cook a meal, or even make food.
Whats easier than two bits of bread and a packet of crisps I ask you.
Well a takeaway, but whats cheaper then.
just bread and thats not the best snack
unless its fresh bread with a big knob of butter melting over it.
but I don't have freshly baked loaf, so its a crisp sandwich summer.

IMPORTANT CRISP NEWS!
As of Jan 4th 2011, for residents of the UK, the cost of a crisp sandwich will increase significantly, with the new level of VAT being 20%, an increase of 2.5%.
This only applies to the crisps and not the bread, but this tax should be scrapped. Its discrimination of those that like crisps sandwiches.
We must form an alliance to bring down the hung parliament until crisps arent taxed against.
Elitism from the Tory party once again ruining this country.

I find tomatoes have little taste nowadays (am i getting old, smoke to much so dulled tastes, supermarkets have crappy toms or what?) but they just arent the same. A Sandwich should be a Beef tomato, but cherrys toms, especially on the vine ones are the best, they can add the tomato taste and experience to the sandwich, without being a pain in the sandwich because of their size.
Its a high recommendation.
setanta

Yeah, off the vine tomatoes are the best, plus I always slice them and add a pinch of salt. Apparently it helps to release more flavour and it gives it a nice tang.

A Sandwich should be a Beef tomato, but cherrys toms, especially on the vine ones are the best, they can add the tomato taste and experience to the sandwich, without being a pain in the sandwich because of their size.
Its a high recommendation.
That's the ones I buy, the slightly more expensive on the vine ones, they actually taste like tomatoes should! It's not just you, the cheaper tomatoes don't really taste of anything these days. Can't beat homegrown ones, but I haven't had any for years since my granddad passed away, he used to grow all his own veg, can't beat it :)
You need to grill them for a while. Put some salt on 'em before hand.
Sundried tomatoes are lovely.

Strange as it may seem, I'm actually just after having a crisp sandwich. What I do is crush them in the packet and then lash them on the bread, along with sliced ham, mayo and mustard. Happy days.
Ahhh a premasher, interesting technique, but personally I like the crunch of biting the crisp inside the bread, maybe its because it prevents the crisp hurting the inside of my mouth if catching it at a wrong angle, can hurt, and you have no risk of when they seem to catch in your throat.
I might try this though next time I have a bag that the shop staff must have played football with for hours.
Since dumping all the pre-packaged/tinned foods I used to always eat, I've become a culinary genius.

Oh, mashing them up is a treat because it increases your crisp hit per square inch ratio. When you bite it you'll be completely engulfed by that cheesy, salty oral sensation.

Yeah, off the vine tomatoes are the best, plus I always slice them and add a pinch of salt. Apparently it helps to release more flavour and it gives it a nice tang.
I put salt on my toms too. cracked sea salt is a must though, rather than the powdery salt. Haven't heard about them releasing flavours, but they do taste best like that.

Ive got some cherry ones growing, can't wait for them to come in. Your right though, they are hideously expensive, I work in a supermarket, and I often 'try' some, well its only really them and grapes I like - well cherries as well, but you can only be caught by your manager and forced to swallow the stones so many times before you think you shouldnt risk it anymore.

yay! fresh food is best.
My top tip is to get a large chopping board and then sit yourself down in front of the telly with a bin and a bowl and chop things up whilst watching BB or something else on telly that makes it more fun.
I often do the prep work in bed. then just go to the kitchen to cook it.
this is obviously just food for me, so not too worried about the 'health' issues.

Tayto Tayto Cheese and onion accompanied by a Cadbury's snack bar and a glass of cold Club Orange!

I loved Up. Toy Story 3 is getting great reviews too, thankfully enough.

I lash them in the George Foreman. Makes a killer panini too.
I keep meaning to buy one for steaks and burgers, but never get round to it.

You'll still have the same tongue though. Get it into you!
hahaha very true.
not been to ireland, so never even seen a packet of tayto's.
maybe someday ill pop over for the guinness, tayto's and green grass.
I wish I had the bed from bedknobs and broomsticks. It would make travel so much easier.

I think they're only available in Ireland but everyone here loves them, the little man on the packet is called Mr Tayto and he's been on billboards and stuff. I think he was even in an election for government at some stage or something like that.
haha, that would have been worrying if elected.

As Marcus and Noirin mentioned they like them, whats your favourite.
Has to be Salt and Vineger Walkers for me...but frazzles a close second.
Oh and just to be accused of being racist, it has to be white bread.
Nice one! I think I am hungry with that sandwich. I think it is the best breakfast for me. :D

I have an actual panini machine thing.. My favourite is brie and cranberry. I tried it the other day with chicken too but didn't like it and ended up picking the bits of chicken out!! :(

Have you ever had one? I'm surprised there aren't more pages to be honest :D

Haha, I s'pose :D
Gotta be Ready Salted though, or Frazzles.
edit: This just reminded me of when I was school. Me and my mate would used to go to Tesco before school, buy a small baguette sort of thing and a bag of Tesco's own brand Thai Chilli crisps then pick all the dough out of the baguette and shove the crisps in.
Doughballs and a crisp baguette for about 50p :D
