Oh yeah I actually used to have a 'provisional' card thing as ID (anyone can get them) but I lost it at least a few years ago now. Lol for those written tests do you have to study for it? Yeah that's quite a while driving, but really good/convenient (especially even more so in America from what I know). Does NYC have good public transport?? Omg had such a weird dream earlier too. So one part was like I was in this room that I guess I'd stayed in or something, then the next day as I was leaving a massive group of people came over and I asked them if they'd paid yet and literally nobody spoke And I was like "wait y'all wanna get it for free right?" and I told them to ask the landlord. Then another bit was somebody told me that all my stuff online had been hacked and I went around changing every single password lmaoo. That bank thing really be haunting me

Oh noooo not $900 It is so easy to keep going though and lose quite a bit when you already start losing some and/or try to win it back & sometimes goes even worse but it sounds like you just got really unlucky tonight. And def understandable to feel really frustrated by it since you know that you know what these casino games are like/how they can go but sometimes in the moment, idk if it's the same for you but I don't think properly/enough about it. And deffff a good idea waiting it out till Sunday, I'm sure you can/will even win it back at some point just as you did last time

Yeah driving license. I was like 18 when I got my official license but there's a 'provisionary' (I think that's the term for it) one before it for like 6 months or something), could've at 16 but waited (then I had to retake the written test which I BARELY passed the 2nd time and the driving test was a breeze). Basically feels like I've been driving forever tho it's been a decade actually. Another thing that adds so much convenience tho but I get why many in London don't bother getting their licenses / a car. Many are like that in NYC which like I've said gives me that kinda London vibe.

Ughhhhhh I'm so damn heated right now. Blew about $900 today and the poker session didn't even go toooo poorly I lost like maybe $150ish on the poker portion tonight but in the middle of it I felt like playing some blackjack and it went ****ing ABYSMALLY. Lost the rest of the -$900+ on there. Made me play ****ty/unmotivated for the rest of my poker as well. Knew a reeeally bad blackjack session would be coming soon too but couldn't help myself. I was cooling down about it for like the past 30 mins to an hour but I still can't. Idk why I did that & I've been starting to lose plenty more days than not so I really gotta chill now. Def gonna take a break until Sunday at least and see what happens. So damn depressed/defeated over this loss, mainly because I was stupid with casino again when I know better by now to at least not go crazy with it but also feel like losses are starting to pile up now so frustrating

Ahh not parties during work hours Yeah that sounds kinda cool with the way it is for you there rn now though. Like I did get on with majority of people I worked with before & even enjoyed talking to them/their company but still couldn't imagine it outside of work I did hang out with a bunch of guests & locals at times but even that was still kinda weird for me being in the workplace lol

Oh damn that sounds annoying. Do you guys have to renew your debit/bank cards over there like how it is with licenses? Pretty simple tho like they'll just send a new one and it SHOULD be fine even in your case with whatever's going on with it hopefully & you still get your next payment. Renewing license every 4 years is the worst tho, such a process and gotta actually go the the DMV and the lines there are ridiculous

Oh and nah I can't even really tell you're tipsy but it might just be that you've gotten tipsy/drunk so often over the last months so your typing just all kinda meshes into tipsy texting and I don't even notice a difference anymore

Nah some places are like that with co-workers but at this one we've only had very few "party" type of days (during work hours randomly, like a Christmas one where we went to a local restaurant the day before Christmas eve or so) but they're rare. One of my previous jobs at a law firm was like that where they'd throw parties all the time both during & after work hours & I would also hang with a few of them casually outside of work every once in a while etc. Just varies but I like how my current job is because those parties in particular can get awkward / rather not even be there We're still all close/friendly tho (and I've been working there over 3 years now I think 3 1/2+)
