Oh & @ the gambling part of discussion. Poker is so great because you don't have to worry about beating the casino's advantage, there is none. They just make their money from poker by taking a 'fee' from a game and all you have to worry about is how you / the other actual people at the table play & hoping to get lucky with the cards. But at least not hoping to get lucky vs. a casino system that's designed for you to lose to begin with

Such an easy form of entertainment & it's prob the best the way you do it making smaller bets too (fun but not that much risked) but I'm too much of a gambler that small bets like that would have no real effect with me. Basically you with alcohol?

Yup slots winnings def never reach the amt of slot losses for anyone I don't think. Maybe the few that somehow win BIG on it but even then I bet those end up losing most/all of it back if they keep playing

Totally, def a very unique way of living and so many different personalities & cultures etc., exactly that type of BB international feel

Loool yeah a $20 loss (but $45 too from blackjack before that) can 'satisfy' my gambling urge while not feeling too bad about it. $65 overall is still kinda like 'ugh shouldn't have played' but still doesn't really bother me with how used to it I am & especially considering the recent streaks.

Aw damn I think a season would be so fun for darts. Like for example NFL has a 16 game season & NBA has an 82 game season. Every team gets a schedule for that season and all teams play that many games. The best overall win/loss records at the end of it then make it into the playoffs tournament format. Really fun I guess kinda World Cup-esque but longer & some lil differences.

Yup the lose rate is unbelievably higher with slots. 100% a game to just play very occasionally & just hope that particular time you can get lucky. And even then you gotta play for a while, very unlikely you get lucky after just playing a few spins. It's prob the worst game EVER for you as you'd quit after 2-3 turns & that'll result in a loss practically every single time Ahh yeah gambling is tough enough when you know the game & usually even worse odds in these variation type games (usually a way casino's think of how can they make a game even more to their advantage )

Yeah definitely, I'm finding now that I at least like to have on one bet a day in something lately (but then not if I'm losing overall ) just because it makes it more fun/having something to follow/watch or whatever.

That is gooood but ofc probably unlikely overall when you think about all the times you've played But yeah it seems easy to just put some money in there and keep spinning it but idk I like games where you've got at least a more decent/realistic chance of winning something each time you play I think And yeah if you win big deffo take it and don't go back

Yeah was pretty fun too though, like an irl Big Brother & interesting to watch a bunch of people together from all different countries like that and just see how things went down etc

There could be, he'll most likely take part in some of the smaller tournaments throughout the year (if they go ahead etc) and maybe he'll even return to these home games at some point. With darts it can really vary a lot, like a lot of the bigger ones would probably go on for a week or something... but nah no type of seasons in it. It's all just tournaments over the year with some of the same/different players in them (they gotta qualify for them I guess) and so each one is different and it's a lot of fun Actually I'm not really even sure how a 'season' works for your games

Yeah still unlikely but really good if you can get those bonuses But then you could easily play like 10 times and NOT get one I've seen some different versions up of roulette though that look cool but idk if I'd want to risk it enough to find out what they're like

Yeah I've had some decent slot wins tbf tho, like even big one-spin hits for $300-$500ish (including that day not too long ago where I got the ~$400 spin ), but the amount of times I quickly lost $100-200 that I put in a machine or online in those slot games is preeetty dumb and shows how much of a ripoff it is over time. It's one of those games where if you somehow manage to be one of the lucky ones that wins a major jackpot, like in the 4-5 figures or something, you better just take that $ & run cause you'll easily lose that back before long continuing to play slots But yeah that's pretty true @ a game like roulette too.

Like when they play all these games is there a constantly updating standings for it or something? It's not separated by "seasons" is it I think that's maybe what it's missing for me. In NFL/NBA the teams will all play throughout a "season" for that year & then the best teams will advance to the playoffs tournament stage. Maybe it's just that it's all I'm used to with sports but I love that format for it.

Ahhh yeah it's pretty lottery-esque, like to win those bonus amts, first one of your #'s picked has to get chosen for the big multiplier and THEN that same # has to land on the wheel that round. Doubtful to say the least. 30x is still good tbf, or SEEMS good, but it's really a robbery when you consider there's 37 #'s so 1 in 37 chance to hit for only 30x return is pretty bad

Yeah def sounds like a drag with that. And yep deeefinitely. It's super annoying when people are that way, I had a bunch of discussions with the owner about who we thought was genuine etc, I'm pretty sure most times I got it wrong It was crazy for me as well because I was becoming friends with these people then realising they're not trustworthy so really confusing too. Then on the other side it's like having to act fake about stuff and ugh I hated that (both times with my ex's so I just told them okay whatever you talk, I'm not really getting involved ).
