Yuuup it all depends on how many people enter but still even just a 6-person game for $100 would be around $400 for 1st place & $200 for 2nd which is solid for having to beat so few people (which would also take like 30-60 mins to complete). That's why I love tournament poker But still it's hard to get these top placements all the time Top 15-20% typically get around/almost double of whatever the buyin is tho and it's very doable. Started at 7:00 but you can join in up to 2-3 hours later depending on the tournament which I did (around 8:30-9:00). There's both advantages & disadvantages to joining in late but too much to get into $700 profit for ~4 hours of playing tho

Literally JUST finished. 6th place for a NICE win again. But damn I thought I was gonna repeat for another top 3 that woulda been crazy! It was $100 entry tho (smaller prizes than even the $50 one - but that's cause Sundays are crazy for poker). Still a ~$700 win

Yeah around 4-5 hours, got up just before 10:00 & then went through my morning routine after getting set up. That's kinda typical for me at home tho, I hardly get a thing done in the first 30-60 mins of work Nnn I literally can't nap almost ever, I'm wide awake again now it's always just the mornings I'm tired

Yeah also the sports betting usually involves the most convo between my friends & others because it also links in to sports talks that I have a bunch and it's kinda the most fun / most common form of betting too.
