Yeah it def would. I've always told my parents they should move to London so I could live/work there and not pay rent and earn hella money basically But would never happen, like my dad has never even visited before and hates cities etc Yeah I like keeping it going esp while darts is on a lot & also for fun/profit

Yep just seems like extra stressful and annoying. Ahh not using it randomly I always used to use cash (in fact I'd never used a card before going to London) but now card is my go-to and I definitely think I've spent more just tapping it to buy things rather than going to a cash machine. Good idea to pay off now tho, but damn @ that having interest too

Did you ever watch TC latest ep btw?

Yeah I get you. Literally sometimes a year or two can make suuuch a difference financially and I can imagine while not working for a while & spending tons at the pubs and stuff like you said. The way you still keep the betting going in small amounts tho

Yeah things like that can get so overwhelming for a lot of people, and annoying to deal with It's better to not even get into using credit cards at all like I usually won't even NEED to use a credit card but do it anyway. Sometimes I'll just be like eh why not just use it so I have more money on hand rn and then I rarely end up paying it back and keep slacking on it and then it's actually built up a bit The interest gets pretty bad with that too, I'll prob fully pay off one of my cards very soon while I'm doing decent with money

Yeahhh I can't believe I did that now looking back But then that's when I had a lot more and plenty of savings so it wasn't ultimately a big loss if I had lost £200 or so. Still would've been disappointing/depressing for a while tho. At least you got something next month

Damn that's crazy. I feel like it's difficult to save that much anyway without bills/other things like that to pay off so I can't imagine having that too Ahh I only found out what credit cards were last year, I didn't know it was possible to literally spend money you don't have Same with overdraft too. But it's not a route I'd wanna go down so probably going to avoid that lol

Oooooooomg @ you going BIG with some bets back then At least you went even with them Damn now I'm super excited for the World Cup again too... I just ****ing need my sports back

Yeahhh you have to pay back aaany semester's worth of college you do Yup mine is/was ~$60K with the interest already put into my payment plan (which is one of the slowest paying processes so imma be paying this **** a loooong time but it's more affordable on a monthly basis). But if I had to stop making payments for a period of time then my debt will start re-increasing with the added interest Nnnn yeah that's a ****ty process to go through but that's basically life for majority of people that don't earn the big bucks Like I try to be careful with my credit cards but they've still built up over time as I typically pay the minimum & I've gone through a few lil splurges over time... so I do have a ~$2,000 total debt accumulating there

We don't let that happen twice Ahh that's a mess. I remember thinking last time that we were actually gonna win though and so much support/flags everywhere </3 It's also when I made my two £100 bets, England won back the first one I lost

Hmm would it still be required to pay back if you don't finish and graduate though Omg that's crazy though, like keep having to put some of your money towards that, especially it getting more with interest too It's like one of my friends who earns a good amount always uses credit card and he's constantly just paying off that and goes round and round and doesn't really save anything I don't think

England can make it a few rounds before getting beat by Croatia again BYE @ never seeing USA in it They're usually eliminated in the group stage if they even do qualify Yeah this was the best Croatia's done in quite some time too like I remember them making it to F4 before but can't even remember how far back that was.

I don't think it's like that at all here I mean one of my friends only did 2 semesters of college before dropping out and hasn't bothered paying his loans but idk what's gonna happen with that His debt keeps rising & they might eventually come for his ass lol Idk but I feel like most/all pay it back here at least slowly and some end up paying for it throughout their whole lives Like an older cousin of mine is still struggling with paying a good amount of his and he graduated like 10 years before I did If you're not paying, the interest keeps rising on it ffs

What about England? Lmaoo I don't think I've ever even seen USA in it before/didn't know they could qualify. But yeah if England end up being eliminated early I'm usually not too bothered at all... I think last time was the best we'd done in a while actually. Yeah hopefully & will deffo look out for the games too, but if not try and find it online somewhere

Not $60k Do you have to pay it back? Not entirely sure how it works here but I think it's like if you don't earn over a certain amount then you don't have to? That's what I've heard anyway and pretty sure loads of people just never pay it back lol

Can't wait for 2022 World Cup but then I feel like I'll just lose interest most likely if Croatia isn't as good & get eliminated early (unless USA is good / even in it but yeah right ). Ahh yeah I forgot about that I'm guessing maybe they'll still be able to play over there if things calm down with corona by then.

I know, I ended up stuck with $60K in student loan debt after interest is added... which I haven't even paid off that much of yet It's kinda depressing even but I just hope soon enough I'll start applying for a new job and it'll all be worth it with the pay

Yeahhh I can imagine. It was great over that time because I was staying in pub/hostels too & there were so many people from different countries that were in the world cup, so basically every game was really exciting/there was an atmosphere Omg I looked it up and it says there is gonna be 4 games played in London (one @ Tottenham stadium who I support in football ) but idk if there will be any changes to that because of corona now

Goddddd no. I couldn't be any less passionate about studying lol so probably would be a similar experience to college. Also NOOOO @ all the student finances

So true. And it's kinda weird because there's nobody announcing the scores so the players themselves do it which is messy if they're bad at maths

The bar atmosphere was SOOOOO good during the Croatia/England game Not too many times I've been THAT hype after Croatia scored the game-leading goal near the end. What a day that was Not as good when they got destroyed by France tho </3 NFL starts September yeah. They usually start having games in London a few weeks into the season.

Nnnnnn Have you ever considered going back now to try uni or is that just WAAAY out of the question / you're way over school days?

Hope so And yeah I can imagine, it's prob half-assed a lot during this quarantine & not as hype to watch and enjoy without the crowds
