Maybe it's similar to when people say 'quid' here We had a few that won but each scratchcard is like £2 and the wins were never over the amount that the scratchcard cost I don't think so essentially never really making any profit from it I've never seen those lottery games before but then I've never looked into much, sounds like you have a better chance of winning there tho

Yeah bucks, dollars, pounds... "bucks" is pretty commonly used here Every scratchcard probably lost tho didn't they? Some of those smaller lottery games are a bit better like "Pick 3, Pick 4" ones where you need to match 3-4 single-digit numbers. But then the win isn't even that spectacular anyway & the fun / time-passing just ain't the same so I'll paaaass on all that usually

Nah it was literally a few bucks. Pretty sure literally just that in scratchoffs EVER, if anything else it was def also a very small win. That kinda gambling isn't even exciting to me, like scratching it / looking at what the card says ehhhh. I need more action in it I get the lottery a bit more. Like the few times I've played during HUGE million $ jackpots it's just like fantasizing what if & looking forward to see the result but then it's just quick & always disappointment nnnn

Yeah there are some people who play the lottery every week and never win, imagine that's like £60 in a month just going to waste The hype of waiting for the numbers to come up is pretty fun though

Literally think I've won like 1/6 times... something like that & never the lottery in the few times I've tried that. But I see others waste so much money on it. And my grandma pretty much ONLY likes scratchoff/lottery gambling, it's so bad But some enjoy it so I can't hate when I like my own gambling (even if I think it's objectively more fun & more likely to win at)

Ahhh yeah I agree Never bought them myself but I always used to go with my friend (same roulette one) to the shop and he would spend like £10 on them every time and only ever won his money back or less & it's soooo unlikely that you're gonna win a lot. I DID find the reveal of them fun though And my mom always gets a lottery ticket for my birthday every year but again would never play myself

And naaah @ scratch cards, that & the lottery are the wooorst forms of gambling imo I’ll get one every now & then for the hell of it but idk if I’ve gotten much more than 5 in my life & they’re not even fun to me. Do you get them at all?
