Is that like round robin tournaments or kinda like World Cup-esque tournament setups? All tournaments are so interesting to me that's part of why I love sports, even poker tournaments so much. Different type of structure in poker but that elimination factor is exciting in anything tho

I know I've told you I hate "parlay bets" but screw it gonna try it on darts why not, just made a bet $7 for $27 on 3 games. I'm really not expecting to win this one but we'll see The games are so early I should know the result as soon as I wake up tomorrow

    Spoiler:

From what I know (which ain't much) London def seems most interesting to live at!

Ugh thing I hate most is tidying up, my room gets messyyyy. Something I hate more actually is laundry. ****ing laundry. My mom does it here anyway but I used to leave it till last minute all the time in London

I didn't realise either till recently You got no (good) excuse not to drink now Possibly the quantity of alcohol but I'm not really sure. My dad gets headaches from wine/champagne too though and I have heard others say it before. I did a lil search about it and it said that darker drinks or bubbly ones (champagne ) can give you a worse headache than light ones eg. vodka/rum. Idk though

Not something I need to think about But yeah my nan was really happy I called her and my mom said I made her day

Yep I feel like it's the same with anything to some degree, you can be really good but always gonna be times where you lose for whatever reason. Yeah 20% is not a lot but must feel great when you reach higher placements/bigger money It's a world matchplay this year It varies though, one year it was premier league darts which is one of my favourites (it's where the draws come in with a league/table and you're not eliminated until you've played all your games), although idk if big tournaments will still go ahead but I'd assume so.

Lmao yeah most likely some that are bigger than UK. Mess @ England probably being equivalent to like your state alone tho But yeah a lot of cities here are pretty similar to each other too so London >>>>

I'll have to slow down then lol, all this time I never even assumed that'd have an effect on hangovers. You to get me to start drinking more as long as I pace myself As for vodka/wine, maybe it has more to do with quantity drank than the alcohol content / how strong it is? Idk if anyone I know would get worse hangovers from wine but I'm not too sure tbf Do you know if it's common at all from your search?

Awww that's nice how the convo went Eh I wouldn't mind living until I'm really old as long as I still have my senses / my mind is still mostly there. Especially if I ever have kids/grandkids it'd be cool seeing them for as long as possible.

Yeah like no matter how good you are in poker you're going to still have plenty losses, unlucky runs that you can't do anything about, etc. The players making the right moves will win a lot more in the long run tho. Tournaments in particular come with a lot of losing. Like statistically you're only supposed to win any money 20% of the time or less and it's a lot harder to get one of those top placements for the big money. Lots of "variance" which is the term used a lot. Ahh is that like the playoffs/championship tournament of darts or something?

Ah ok that makes sense. It's aaaalmost like just traveling around NJ? UK's def bigger tho but I think there are at least a few states in the US that are bigger than the entire UK?

Cleaning is such a boring chore for me. I'd rather do labor around the house and so many other things than clean. I'll tidy up my room enough and clean up after myself and stuff but it's rough doing much else.

Nooo not wet then dry it Lol aww that's sweet, my mom/nan are pretty into cleaning their houses but I don't think they particularly enjoy it Only thing I sort of like is washing up but anything else is just a chore.

Ohhh I did a search last night and found this: "People who pace themselves when they are drinking alcohol and drink slowly are less likely to experience severe hangover symptoms the following day." so guess I was right and that's the trick Although I do feel like if I drink wine instead of vodka there's still way more chance of it no matter what

Lmaoo yeah it's so old, I wouldn't want to even reach that age tbh Probs depends on the person like my grandparents still go out/do things occasionally but they're pretty forgetful/stay at home a lot of the time, I feel like it'd be kinda boring. eta: the convo actually went fineeee and they weren't annoying at all

Lmaoo yeah I remember that, but I guess like in every game sometimes things happen that are unexpected/different results than you thought. That's a LOT of money to win tho And yeah, I assume that the people who enter tournaments are pretty good as well so it could probably go any way a lot of times. Yeahhh there are plenty of darts games lately too, like even more than usual and it's a sport that's still easy to do at their own homes. There's always a big tournament that goes on around my birthday time too

London is the only place I've stayed in (Greece as well for a few months), I've been to a lot of other cities in the UK but pretty much only as day/few day trips. But honestly it's kinda like if you go to eg. Liverpool and stayed there a week you'd be basically done and there'd be nothing else new to see there after that London is definitely the only place I'd live here, everywhere else is too small

Just to get it wet from all the dirt and then dry it Prob not a good idea tho lmaoo. But yeah the floors are never bad here, I walk around barefoot all the time and never get dirty/black feet. We do all clean pretty regularly here tho especially my grandma who just LOVES it as a hobby even, even at her old age now.

Ohh ok ok I just thought hangovers were standard to you now but I guess the headache could've just happened randomly

Loool good luck with it. She deserves a call on ha birthday sooo close to 80 it's crazy just thinking about being that old like I'll have to live my whole life so far another 2 times to get there

They're decent at poker, some better than others & we've all played it a decent amount (I'm the best of us tbh like they just don't understand some of the more in-depth stuff I've learned & results-wise I do the best overall - although I think I told you this already but one of them somehow won ~$4000 in a tournament months back & idk how ). Poker's a really hard game to win at with just luck & literally impossible to win without knowing how to play (maybe you can win a hand here or there but overall just can't win without knowing the game pretty well). Very different from a lot of other gambling the only thing is many people know the game well these days so it's still tough. Ahh putting yourself back in the right direction with the win!! I should bet on darts again, see if I can keep that undefeated streak going

Yup a new place is really exciting You've mostly just been around London right? Or are there a lot of other places you've been too?

Ahhh They're deffo worse because they can actually sting but I just don't like anything flying/buzzing around me, soooo annoying. Daddy long legs are the lesser evil tho

I didn't even have a ONE day hangover this time Idk why I got a headache last night it seemed random but after a solid sleep I feel better

My nan is 79 today I gotta call her later but doesn't really make much difference with corona and that because I probs wouldn't see her anyway. Gonna be the 2nd time to speak since being home and she's gonna ask me 4692983 new questions.
