Yeah it was a pretty clever idea though and it worked well, like people fell for it. We met him a few times because we were unsure of him and he always got soo frustrated (which I could understand if he was legit as well tbf) and when we were with him he was ALWAYS getting phone calls he just ignored. Deffooo important to be careful and probably instinct as well: like if you think someone's dodgy they probably are. I guess we were being extra careful bc we didn't fully trust him, I'm usually pretty lazy and just sign things like that too

Y'alls look sooo much nicer, the way they have like fruit and stuff in them too

What's next, Blacklist or something? Oh another season of Survivor I want to watch is Chase Rice's, I'm really curious to see what he was like. Was his season good in general??

WOW that's such a mess. What a sleazy dbag. That would've been so awful, good things you guys realized and avoided that disaster I feel like things are a lot more legit / clean cut around here but still when I look for a place you've made me realize I gotta be careful. I'm soooo bad/lazy with reading contracts / terms of service and all that for anything.

Ahhh I've legit never seen it in a plastic bottle like that Just in a glass/pitcher.

5 seasons of breaking bad. I'm on episode 3 now with about 16 or so episodes for the last season (the others were 13 eps or 7 for the first). The watch is almost over Then I'll need something else to do during work.

So basically when he sent the contract it said "Flat D" and I looked it up online because I remembered that there was a Flat A, B and C but no D And it literally just didn't exist lmao. And so if we'd signed it (2 months, £400 each) we'd have just lost that money without him putting us in an actual room, but we'd be like... legally required to pay and it would be our own fault for signing it He was on spareroom, like a pretty legit website for rooms and he advertised CHEAP rooms in a few nice locations of London, so made sense really But he was just a random guy but pretty untrustworthy from the moment we saw him tbh, just seemed a bit shifty

It's pretty popular here too, like on a night out, pub with friends, dates, special occasions, anything really. I used to buy it a lot just cus it was cheap but it's not all that tbh. Omg I tried Sangria before because of a country song (didn't realise it was red wine till then, gross) but I bet it's nothing like it is there, in a bottle like this:
    Spoiler:

Yeah and I've never watched series even when home before/not doing much but I feel like I've started just because everybody else is doing it How many seasons are there??

Most of the time people are just drinking wine straight over here. Like it's definitely the most common and idk why because it's just so nasty. Me & my friends don't really **** with wine hardly ever tho, more of something I'll drink with the family during a holiday etc. People tend to love Sangria here tho but I just can't take red wine PERIOD.

Yup same here like even though I'm LOVING Breaking Bad idk if I ever would've gotten through it if I didn't need something to do during work hours On season 5 now tho, SUCH a great show

Omg what an absolute mess @ the blackmail Do you have any idea how the scamming would've happened tho? How'd you guys even find him? Did your bf know him at all or just found it as a cheap place to go??

Ahh I was just thinking about how tragic the whole situation was really. Like we got the contract to sign and it had loads of spelling/grammatical mistakes in and thought it was a bit strange, then looked up the guy's name online and found him in a list of "dodgy landlords" He was like a full-time scam landlord and had been for years with a couple of his friends all in on it together. I texted him like a few sentences about how I admired what he was doing and it was super clever and then he called us up saying he'd got copies of our passports (yeahhhh we sent them dumb move lmao) tryna blackmail And my exbf was like "I'm gonna go to the police first about him" and I was kinda like "I think we should just forget about him tbh" ahhhhh so messy. He never did anything (that I'm aware of) though

Yeah I definitely think it's a virus tbh. I feel like it's gonna happen soon... omg gonna be even more bored if that happens I don't want to think about it

Champagne is better because it's fizzy and sorta hides the taste, but some wines are sooo awful to me I can do dry ones but anything past like 2/3 on the scale gets so difficult. First time I drank wine without a mixer was on NYE at my friend's place when I was so desperate to get drunk, since then I've been able to do it

Yeahh lmao I'm not sure either. I feel like even 2 weeks would be an achievement at this point It's good, I'm enjoying the season Just can't watch anymore than like a couple of hours of tv shows a day because it gets too samey/boring lol

Nnnnn your laptop is so close to just giving out! I've definitely had that on a previous laptop where I had a virus and it just broke down altogether not long after.

Wine I definitely agree unless it's a sweet white wine then I kinda enjoy but champagne is solid Yeahhh I'm sure you're right about a whole bottle

Yup, you'd probably be craving it and it'd be a special night / you'd really enjoy it. I hiiiighly doubt you can go 2 months tho Yeah I feel you, how's the Cagayan watch going tho?

I don't think so although you've told me at least a story or two about him.. what'd the dodgy landlord do??

Just going through all my phone contacts now and deleting irrelevant ones (maybe not the best idea when still kinda drunk ) but it reminded me... did I ever tell you about that story of the dodgy landlord my exbf and I nearly signed a house contract with???

Might actually be, it's better right now than it has been for days OH forgot to mention I GOT blue screen of death earlier and I was legit so scared. It made my Spotify go all robot-esque then stopped the music then just shut the whole laptop down and randomly started up again on its own Soooo creepy

No I really don't like the taste of any wine or champagne tbh Like some wines are definitely better than others but I can't say I enjoy them. NOT like a soda though ahhhh. Have you ever drank a whole bottle on its own tho? I think then it would do something

Yeah would be FUN if I hadn't done it in a while, otherwise it's going to be like any other day Idk what else to do though... like drinking at least passes the time/makes me unbored for a bit. I really can't remember what I ever used to do to entertain myself here
