That's surprising. Here they care a lot less in general and it's more about what you can prove you've done. Maybe depends on what the subject is though, i've never applied for antyhing major lol. Isnt your degree relative to what u do though?

ahhhh gym is a subject within PE here, like with all the equipment/mats and stuff lmaooo. PE is just anything overall that requires you to move instead of being sat at a desk. So jealous that you didn't have to swim, I bloody hated that ****

Oh I did, I just want the king unbanned, but idc about going back there lol. I got banned again I guess way too much trash to deal with

Yeah I went to college, and here experience is prob like 50/50 but there are literally many jobs that won't even consider you without the degree (and it's also hard to get a proper job without first getting the degree to get the experience). It sucks But yeah, so far my degree is just going to waste lol

Ohh I meant PE in general, we just call it gym here I liked every part of gym/PE, just so much fun and I was one of those people going all out / sweating a lot but it was just a nice break from the boring school subjects. We never even had any type of swimming

ALSO I just realized you came back to & already re-left the discord chat What happened???

Degrees/qualifications don't really matter too much here unless it's something like doctor/nurse or where you need it. Experience is wayyy more important. Uni's (colleges for you) are free in Scotland here, but only if you live there I think Did you say you went to college(uni)?

Yeah you don't need a net tbf if you're not being serious about it Just makes it a bit easier. Gym was actually alright compared to a lot of the other sports we had to do... strangely I was in the top set for PE even though I did absolutely nothing and skipped at least half of the swimming classes

AHHHH not poison It's just sooo dry for me, like I might as well just smoke a cigarette goddamn. NOT drinking a bit but not enough to get drunk, such a waste I'm def drunk by now lollll

Nah but it's a LOT cheaper and you can get a scholarship for there too (a lot easier than a regular college). You can still get your community college degree & be done with it but it's a lot harder to find jobs than with another college degree so people usually switch out eventually.

Especially growing up, I enjoy playing any sport and that one sounds good. I remember playing with those rackets/'shuttles' before but not even with a net, just playing around with people Gym was ALWAYS the best in school

Red wine is the one I seriously can NOT deal with lol, legit tastes like poison or something. Certain sweet white wines are good enough but even then it's more of a sipping / have like two glasses with the family type of thing for me

Yep, is it free there? I think... everybody who I knew at college didn't even know where my hometown was (like half an hour away) because they all lived in the actual city centre themselves And yeah it's exactly that here too for university tbh. It's pretty young tbf

Lol it's similar with the net and the rackets like tennis, but instead of a ball we call it a shuttle I don't know the actual rules of the game cus we just played for fun really but it was always something I enjoyed even at school (when people weren't being serious/competitive ).

I can't @ red wine but my dad loves it. What can I do when it's the only option I have, either wine or nothing? Well whiskey or beer but... let's not go there. I kind of forced myself to start being okay with it/not mixing it with anything, white wine is doable, not enjoyable but easier than rosé or red. I find just taking it in really tiny sips makes the flavour not so bad

Is the college free to go to before university? It's kinda like a stepping stone into getting into a college you really want to go to around here so maybe that's it / it's similar? NOT out of high school at 15 over there! That's crazy to me

Yeah I think it was like exactly a year ago or a bit longer But it's basically gone now I can just see where it was if I look at the spot it's like really faint.

The net sounds nice for a backyard Idk badminton much but it's the game kinda like a tennis/volleyball hybrid with that other thing instead of a ball (idk what you'd even call it )?

Mhm literally JUST wine in my house basically with a lot of them being red wine. I can't do with wine period, idk how you're drinking it so often! But I guess a lot of people do enjoy wine like that. It's like a simpler drink to just have at any time but the taste is usually so meh if not straight NASTY to me

Yeah I think up to like 45 is okay ish, but must get tiring doing the driving/especially when it's every night after work. Ahhh the way you like work from home now Wow I actually finished school when I was 15 because I'm towards the youngest of my year, then I took time out and did not a lot for a while till college lol. Maybe the community one is similar to our college then

Not still a mark now And it happened like a year or so ago at least?

Ohhh yeah could be a bit annoying I guess We used to have a net up for a bit and played badminton with friends/my mom when I was younger, that was fun

Chardonnay... again. My parents literally buy the same stuff every single week I'm so over it My dad is obsessed with shopping @ Lidl and it's so dull there. BUT I'm feeling tipsy already

Yeah I can't do 90 min travels every day Like my travel by car is about 25 to work (if no traffic which usually ain't bad at the time I go) & like 40-60 to get home and that's tiring for me but I'm used to it. Still, I like that I don't have to do any travel now tho Lol people graduate from high school here at 18! Then it's either community college -> college or directly into a college (for those that want to go to college). So weird how it varies in different countries.

It basically went away after like 2 weeks with the antibiotics & cream but not even fully and then even months later there was still a scar but now it's gone. Can still see a really little/faint purplish mark where it was tho lol

Basically the constant dribbling sounds / noise me & my friends used to make / sometimes the ball would hit the windows of the house. Ahhhh that sounds like a really nice addition to that garden wish I could've saw that too prob looked awesome
