Loool what was wrong with a basketball hoop there? We used to have a darts board in our garage that my dad and I played on (me a lot more) a bit but he sold it when I went to London </3 And before I left it was all sooo different, like up the bigger part of the garden we had a really nice flower patch and monkey tree (the spiky ones that take like 100 years to grow fully) but my dad took everything out because it was too much effort to cut the grass/look after

Just about to get on the wine now

That must take a bit of time? Another guy I chat with online who's from Queens said he travels through a few different places, Brooklyn and somewhere else I think and it takes 90 mins to his work Yeah exactly, I literally have no idea what the equivalent is to our college in America Like I went there when I was about 17 I think, but people usually go there straight after high school (16 ish). The different names are sooo confusing to me lol

Omg that actually sounds horrible How long did it take to like go away entirely? Yeah because I thought they didn't even bother you unless you bothered them That's such a mess though ahhhh

We used to be like that with both the front & the back of my house but I feel like over the years gotten a bit more lazy with it When I was younger I used to have a basketball hoop in this little pavement spot of my backyard but some of my family & the tenants that live in the side/basement here all got annoyed with it so we eventually got rid of it a long time ago. That was the best part of my backyard now it's so basic and yours looks a lot nicer

My friend takes a car/bus/train combo to and from work in NYC every day, idk how he does it I'd get so tired of that process. But NY is better with the public transport tho, at least from a timely standpoint. That's ****ed @ only being able to take it in the morning and come back at 6:00. And oh yeah I forget you went to college, that's different from colleges here tho right? Like people go to college & then university over there?

Tbf the black widow wasn't THAT big either (still bigger than the typical spider) but it did **** up my thigh (orangu).. It stung where the bite was for days and I would have full thigh/leg pain/aching, kinda like a shooting pain when I walked on it. The pain part of it wasn't AWFUL but it was very noticeable/irritating. Looked GROSS too But yeah I think I messed up pissing it off and it literally remembered and went back at me when I was back in the bathroom or something ffff

That could be messy if you have work or something and you've gotta wait for up to 30 mins The tubes in London literally run like every 3-5 mins and yet every time they're still crowded as hell especially during peak time Yeah it leaves early morning here then comes back at like 6pm in the evening, I used to take it to college so the times mostly worked, but if you worked evening shifts or something you're ****ed

Did it hurt? Omg @ teeth marks I've never seen like a big/venomous spider irl before, we usually only get small-medium ones in our houses. AHHHH not air freshener I've tried spraying sprays on spiders/daddy long legs before and it literally just makes them mad and they run away lmaoo. The way he came back and bit you after you tried to kill him tho

My dad is obsessed with the garden/house/outside always doing things to make it look better Really don't think I could be bothered with it tbf

Tbh I think the morning after I got bit is when I noticed (prob got bit late before I left work the night before). It was painful by my upper thigh and I noticed the red/purple lump which then got SO bad by the time I got the antibiotics for it / while it healed over many days. You could see two marks where the two teeth/fangs bit especially when it swelled up. I knew it was the spider even before I got it checked cause I noticed the black widow like 2 days before at my work bathroom and failed to kill it (it crawled into this crack by the window while I was trying to get it and then I sprayed this air freshener into the crack ).. whole experience: sooo bad

The pics look amaaaazing btw Loooove that short grass, it all looks beautiful!

Ah yeah there's Dijon here too but that's like a honey mustard I think, I haven't had that one in a while. A hotter/more flavorful version of the yellow mustard sounds GOOD tho because I like more spice in it like the brown mustard here. But our yellow mustard is stil good

Idk like certain stops they'll only come a few times a day so that's bad if you're unaware or miss it. But even the ones more frequent I feel like you'll usually end up waiting 10-30 mins unless you get lucky. NOT once a day, just screwed and have to find another way if you miss it?

Yep exactly, I think the brown spicy one is something entirely different that we don't have here There's one called dijon here that's brown, but that isn't spicy at all it's really mild Spicy is always better tbf

What is a long wait for you? Buses in London are around every 5-10 mins but the bus outside my house goes once a day Ahh yeah, super bad traffic in London too, it's actually faster to take the bus than car usually because of the bus lanes.

Oh yeah I kinda remember you mentioning that before How did it happen? Like did you know at the time or just randomly wake up having been bitten?

Went out for a jog then smoke, which probably wasn't that wise considering I was already out of breath Pics to follow in a bit

So it's the same yellow color / looks the same but it tastes more hot/flavor? Is it not a brownish yellow then cause that sounds just like brown spicy mustard to me But over here, spicy mustard is prob a bit better overall than regular yellow tbf!

Yeah public transport is pretty rough here, long waits at times and over-crowded / not the best buses/trains/etc. I always avoid it if I can But in NY that's definitely common just like London so many people don't bother getting cars there (but always tons of traffic regardless I guess because of how over-populated it is and how many people are coming in and out of there from NJ/other states)

Ugh I hate spiders ever since I got bit But as long as it's just one of those regular non-venomous spiders you should be fine Still creepy regardless tho
