Yeah I switch between short intervals of running & walking and start walking for too long after a while. Also I guess so, it's just weird cause the elliptical requires a lot of movement too so I don't get how the same distance (or more) results in less calories burned. Possibly not having to lift your feet up off the surface.

Sksksk that guy sounds like potentially a howl tho! Why was he unbelievable was there other stuff too?

Ahhh NOT going two days without alcohol being a record if you make it Tbf I don't blame you tho like especially if you're really bored at home and need something to spice up your days there. You should start getting into beer No better time to go for it than while they're there for free. Nah but I don't blame you for not liking it, a ton of them are gross. I feel like it's a matter of getting used to the taste to start liking it even for my faves like Corona -originally not the biggest fan- & I guess Bud Light #2.

There's still wine downstairs but I'm not really down for the headaches or taste. I feel like I'll mostly only drink vodka now My dad has got like 20+ beers in the fridge too but I'd never go near those. Ahhhh I'm almost there now, then probably no drinking tomorrow either. If I do that, it might be the longest I've gone without it since being home That sounds so tragic

Ahh yeah I think that's pretty average, I clocked mine for 10 mins the other day and it would work out to be about 2.5m in half an hour I think, but I'm still going slow Probs because it takes a bit less effort than treadmill? I haven't used it before, but as you said you get less tired I'm guessing it's why less calories

Yeah it's definitely nice to chill out and it's like the whole vibe... going outside and lighting it up and seeing the smoke. Idk I just find it so cool. Ohhh some American guy was telling me that he wanted to bring over loads of packs to try and make a profit, he was a bit of a **** though and pretty unbelievable on everything he said so

Yeah imma do it, it's just slipping my mind after not even bothering for so long now Yeah I never did a ton of miles on the treadmill or elliptical, usually just like 2.x miles in 20+ mins, in the 3+ range at times but I don't remember how often. Elliptical is easier to not get tired & just stay at a consistent pace so I'd sometimes do more miles (yet burn less calories I'm not even sure why) on those.

sgahghkjgahgjkha I also work while watching the episodes tho! That's true tho @ pandemic

Yeah like my friends LOVE having a cig allllll the time now just to be/stay relaxed... it's kinda crazy to me tho and I don't wanna risk getting like that too Oh nah it's like $8 for a pack here as well, maybe it varies on the pack tho but I remember $8 from buying one for a friend before. Where'd you hear $2-3?

Oop you out of alcohol in general so gotta get more or just no vodka? Technically not a day of no drinking tho since you were drinking at 5am tho

Yeah it's a good feeling once you get past how disgusting it is. I get you, because I used to feel the same way but I think it just happened when I've been outside with people and they've passed me the cig and I ask what it is (as in, weed or just tobacco) and I did it a few times and not hated it, then it sort of just became a thing and a nice way to relax It's really cheap there too isn't it? I've heard it's $2-3 or something? Here it's like £8-11 for a 20 pack. Weed is deffo better tho!

Yeah it's gotta be within an hour of sending it so I've got be on it. I'm shockingly doing neither tonight Haven't got any vodka left and I feel like I'll sleep alright cus I'm pretty tired already, ciggies comin tomorrow though

Ahhh not just once so far I always force myself to do it, like sometimes I literally just wake up (my mom always tells me when they're going out), get outta bed and straight into it and it feels gooood. Do/did you remember/record what distance you used to do on the treadmill before??

Lol yeah I don't think that in the middle of a pandemic people can be too harsh or expect too much either really. Especially not being used to it/having done anything like it before. "Slightly less work, but working hard enough" whilst on your 5th episode of Breaking Bad in the day

Tbh it sounds kinda nice. Maybe I'd like it but I'm just paranoid about what it does to your lungs tho so since it's kinda gross to me anyway, I'd rather just keep it that way & not get into it. And idk why but I feel like if I got into cigs THAT would be something I go out of my way to buy since it's so easy to get a pack anywhere and just quickly smoke one wherever you are outside. Idk I don't want to get into all that & get addicted. Like even a lot of smokers end up saying it's better not to even get into it Occasional weed is good enough for me

Oh are the surveys only able to be done at exact times? Still not bad tho worth the little bit of time to do it. Are you smoking cigs instead of drinking tonight or having some drinks again too?

That's true I think same reason why I'm falling asleep later as well (other than getting used to it). I'm hoping the home exercising can help but I've actually forgotten about it until late at night, only done it once Now that it came to mind I might do some little routines and bike riding tonight tho

Yeah probably it's just so weird to think like "oh **** I haven't even moved my mouse for a while now, what if he was there and noticed" I mean I feel like he'd understand that at home there's gonna be some distractions / slightly less work being done tho so I don't worry about it too much or anything. I still work hard enough regardless.

Exactly the same here. Probably July-August at its absolute worst, constant 80-90's (F) heat depending how bad the summer is that year. (orangu)

As soon as I take the first hit I get a GOOD buzz from the nicotine, like a lil dizzy and just chilled out, then doesn't take long before I get a bit sleepy lol. Wellll you don't know unless you try I do actually think you'd like it if you got into it tbh

Ahhh yeah I've gotta be up in the day tho to do some of the surveys which is the ****ty part so I need to set an alarm or something tonight

Yeah my sleep is always **** at home compared to London, probably because I'm not doing enough to actually be tired mentally or physically. That's an okay sleep pattern and saving the work travel time so you can sleep or/stay up longer.

Pretty much the same here @ being advised for all non-essential workers to work from home too, plus most places are closed. I'd probs be paranoid they were perching it, but I'm sure they have other things to do than watch your screen anyway

Yeah that is true, I've noticed that like if I go out on my own for a walk and it gets a bit hot I just need to get back IMMEDIATELY and I've got no time for it, but if I'm with a friend I can tolerate it a bit better When would you say are the warmest months there? I think here it's usually from like June-August where it gets too much to deal with.
