Yeah it's so true, most of the guys my dad fishes with are like 60+ It seems a good vibe though, they all have soo much banter and they usually keep in touch all the time/call each other most nights. What is crabbing? Catching crabs?? I think I'll be going back around September time, definitely not before then though because I'm gonna spend summer here and try to get a little money before then too. I'm EXCITED already though

Yeah studios are really cute. I spent most nights there on my own because he was always either busy at work or out drinking and after experiencing it I don't think I'd stay alone it's tooo boring/lonely after a while. But a flat with a few friends would be fun I think

Btw did you ever do anything fishing related with your dad or not your thing?

Yeah like I remember even tho I didn’t like BBUK’s format as much, the show was just really FRESH to me so I was getting super into it. Then they went & cancelled it </3

Ahh I feel like fishing is BIG for a lot of older guys. I used to go crabbing & fishing with my friend & his dad soooo often when we were in like our teen years cause his dad LOVED it, we got pretty into it too but it’s been a long time since we/I last went. I think him & his dad still go occasionally but not in a while either. Ah I see, do you know when you’re going back to London or no clue?

Ahh sounds great My friend's who I stayed at a bit in London had something a little similar at his place, he'd got a tv and really good surround sound (he works in a studio so probs why) although inside it looked like an absolute tip with stuff everywhere

Yeah tbh I feel like a lot of it is to do with when you start watching as well. Maybe because I've seen less BBUS/Survivor seasons than most people, I think they're actually pretty good in general/enjoy them

Well now my dad's is deeeefinitely fishing, he LOVES it He's got this lil business kinda thing related to it as well like making floats and selling them on ebay and stuff. Recently just had to help him set up a fb page for it too for more customers/promo My mom... literally I've got no idea I guess she kinda likes cooking and isn't too bad at it lol. I doooo enjoy baking and I need to do it more now I've got the chance before I go back to London, haven't made anything in a week or so now </3

Yeahhh the thing is BBUS20 was also extremely good but even then my interest level wasn’t the same. Overall it’s dwindling even when the season is “good”

Truuu I find rants funny almost always & he specifically is funny even/especially when mad. Yeah I’d say exactly that type of size, couple rooms with decent size living room where the TV’s & speakers are at, but REVAMPED and set for a good time

Yeah I kinda think I'd always watch too just out of habit/for nostalgia reasons mostly, because the last few seasons of BBUK have been **** I know you don't have much to compare to, but it's probably the same for BBUS I'm guessing

Oh yeah his news was actually pretty good. Kinda 2 separate news/story. One about work being deserted like he’s never seen & basically how this one co-worker he’s stuck with (who he HATES) was messing up on these simple things. Bit of just a general work rant lol. Main thing which was cool is that he’s renovating his place during quarantine lately, new fridge, way bigger TV & this new surround sound he’s setting up etc. He was giving us a lil preview of the place & it looks SICK. The surround sound is gonna be nice for movies, sports games, music etc. when quarantine is over!

Yeah being single isn’t bad and sometimes it’s needed / can be refreshing. Overall I prefer it

Loool childhood memories like that are so cute It’s definitely true like now that I’ve been into BB for like 8 years it’s slowly starting to get a bit old (but I think I’ll always love it to some extent & keep watching)

10 is TOO young for poker tbh, idk what my dad was thinking but I think childhood hobbies always stick with people the most as well. Like true passions. Yeah 21+ for gambling besides the lottery (why they only allow to play the lottery at 18 I have no idea lol)

I agree soooo much, same with BBUK/XFUK like they definitely faded out over the years and it got worse and worse and I became unbothered about even watching them towards the end. My very first Idol days were in like 2003 though, they used to air the show here on tv like a week later and I'd keep my mom up till midnight watching it
