Yeahhh I feel bad for people that still have to work around a ton of people every day. I'd be so paranoid about getting it (but even though my sister's working from home with her main job (teaching) she's still working part-time at this supermarket so it's def possible she can get it and spread it at home )

Yeah definitely not... it's got loads of long-term stayers here too so they'd never do it. The best word is honestly just... trashy It's like a mix between dodgy (the people... look like they're gonna pounce on ya stuff if you look the other way, they all speak in other languages ALL the time and most seem pretty chavvy/rough), the area is a bit run down and it's right next to a cemetery so I could imagine it being really creepy at night And it's sliiightly dirty but deffo better than when I was here last time.

AHHH they sprayed it down on all the walls too and some of the staff are wearing masks But yeah it's kinda ****ty to be working in an environment like that right now with people everywhere. I heard one guy with a DEFINITE corona cough earlier too

It's closing tomorrow apparently But I'd already reached my max stay there so I would've had to have left today anyway. It's weeeeeird because a few seem to be staying open and not even thinking of closing down, others already have and some are doing it this weekend.

The one I'm at is trash which is why I chose it because I knew it would stay open Ohhhh and every time someone comes through the door the security sprays this sanitizer on their hands

Yeah I get that and agree. Did your other hostel close down? And what's going on with the hostels, are they keeping them/some open then??

How is day 1 of the new sober mode going?

Omg I think hardly ANY are open here for takeaway anymore. Maybe a few of the under the table ones, but not any of the well-known/chains etc. I really don't like it even just because sometimes I wanna go into Costa for some water or whatever yknow and there's just NOWHERE TO GO.

Yeah like idk if that's legit or if it's just preparing people for what could happen (although tbf at this point I don't feel like anybody knows anyway). I even heard a year/18 months before but we just wouldn't survive it
