Yeah same really And I definitely get that, the more I won/lost the more I just wanted to do it again to either win more or win it back Usually bet around £20 and won/lost around the same... the biggest I did was £100 bet then lost it, then the next day I did the same and literally won it back so it was more just relief than anything else.

Yeah deffo fun/an experience, but I feel like it can get old after a while... like at this point I only stay in them because they're cheap and I don't want to be shut in a room on my own all day But I don't really socialise the same way as I used to. Apparently they are quite a bit more expensive in America than here I've heard (maybe like $20 per night as opposed to some being about £10 here)

Yeah I get you especially if you're really tight on money it does make you think back to how you could've been smarter with your money. But I also try to live with no regrets With gambling you gotta get that rush from winning big to get addicted to it properly What do you mean by smallish wins/losses? Like within the $1-$100 range?

Yeah I feel like if I went to a nice looking/clean one and the people were fun to be around it'd be a blast (esp in like a nice area)

Yeah same, I don't really regret it but at the same time I kinda look back and think... imagine if I'd saved on doing like a few different things, I could've had way more money now and felt more comfortable Idk about the gambling though... for me I DEFFO wish I didn't spend so much on it because again for the same reason above And it's not like I've ever won a good lot from it either, it's been like consistently small ish wins/losses.

Yeah it's definitely not always preferential to be around people all the time/not having much privacy BUT it can be fun for short amounts of time Yeahhh I'm so curious to see hostels in other countries bc from what I've heard off of people they're wayyyy better than the ones here lol

Lol I've gone through plenty of those over-spending phases too, especially when I was younger and kinda had even less care for money. But still, having/spending money a lot of times = more fun so I don't regret those times either. Even same with gambling if I'm having fun with the games / good experiences (ie as long as it's not BIG/constant losses ).

Yeahhh idk if I could do it long term but going to a hostel for like a day or a week or something like that seems like it'd be worth it for the experience. If I ever did travel to another country like UK I might try it out

Yeah it's really entertaining/interesting In my first house/hostel I ever stayed, we used to joke about how it was like Big Brother and it actually was bc most people were long-termers and there were soooo many arguments/bitching/funny things happen and we used to all hang out a lot together and entertain ourselves... like me and this one guy used to play this game where we'd guess who was coming downstairs by how the footsteps sounded like Goooood times

Or hopefully he hasn't got corona or something But yeah it's deffo weird/and also not really okay not to even let you know the latest updates so you know what's going on.

Yeah, although it's deffo been more fun when I've gone through my phases of spending money There was a time when I was spending up to £30 a day (or maybe even more) on drinks alone in pubs with my friend and now I won't even spend a penny in any pub/bar Ahhh I get that, on a smaller scale/less money than you but I know that it can go downhill pretty fast Yasss, go win that poker this time

Yup and my boss is usually good with getting back (like even if it was to tell me not to bother working today) so it's odd. Double checked my phone to make sure the text went through and that I didn't send it to someone else. Maybe he's just not sure how he's proceeding with his business rn or something like that but idk at all.

Yeah & you seem to be great with managing your money / living with what you can get which is reeeeally good I'm trying to be hella careful this time because I've had a bad habit in the past of losing control with my money once things start going bad etc. And ty I CAN'T WAIT to go back to AC now lol

Ahhh I want to see like a "day in the life at a hostel" or something like that. It seriously seems suuuper interesting / funny with all the different personality types and people from around the world. Like a big dysfunctional family or something

It makes it a lil bit better knowing that everyone is kind of in the same situation right now... this guy in my room keeps complaining like multiple times a day that he's bored and spends all day in bed talking in his language playing some game on his phone But yeah I do think that some people aren't taking it seriously enough as well. I was chatting with this guy a couple of nights ago who was saying he wants to troll Boris basically and go against all of his rules and party/go out etc Like it is serious and could get so much worse if people keep it up

That's kinda annoying but at least you had other things to do Hopefully you'll know what's going on more tomorrow anyway!!

It probably depends how much you spend... for me that would last literally months (probably even closer to a year), but I also know a lot of people who spend their daily/weekly/monthly money as soon as they get it, so in which case wouldn't go far Yeah it's a really good idea to cash out small profits at a time, it'll definitely help in the long-term... you're SLAYING rn so hopefully keep it up

Yeah that makes sense and people are def going more crazy about it online than people outside and that I know IRL (tbf people going out just prob don't care as much about it overall). I think it's more of a mental thing than anything although it can be serious if the wrong person gets sick or it keeps spreading this drastically.
