I used to keep exact track of how I was doing on an excel spreadsheet like years back but I got bored of it and it doesn't really do much, like I know a good estimate of how I'm doing regardless of keeping track NAH no quitting while ahead, it's too good/fun of a hobby

So yeah it's a lot to explain. It is like the other games where you sit in with a set amount (or put in a certain amount of money for a tournament) but it's a little different. Like say in blackjack or roulette, you bet a certain amount that you're guaranteed to win or lose in each "round" of play. In poker you can sit in with like $50, $100, $200, etc. depending on the limit you're playing but each time you get a hand you don't ACTUALLY have to put any money in unless you're in the "small blind" or "big blind" position. Which is hard to explain if you don't know what that is I'd literally need like 15-30 mins just to explain the absolute basics in poker. But simple answer: yeah basically the higher buy-in you play the more likely you're going to win or lose more money but there's not a certain amount you have to bet every time you get cards.

Lol yeah, gambling is very streaky tho so there's a lot of times where I'm winning a lot and a lot where I'm losing a lot but as long as I profit overall I love it Until I lose the money back, then I'm FUMIN and it doesn't make up for anything I'm trying to be careful tho and not over do it!
