I didn't, I'm waiting on Dan to fail first My friend invited me over to smoke today so I might do that later. I couldn't even bothered moving last night oops.

Also question I've wanted to ask for like weeks: what is obituary??? It was in a country song and I looked it up but I don't really get it... does it mean newspaper or something similar?

Maybe it's just because it's new and it'll take you some time to get used to it... after the next 2 weeks you won't want to leave your living room for the office again I get that though, you probably try a little extra hard because you don't want them to think you're not doing enough or something. Yeah I don't think I could do it in a communal space because it can be pretty hard to concentrate/stay focused. I literally can't focus on things even when I have nothing important to be doing Slay @ you saving time though

I was thinking the same thing, it definitely feels like less of a big deal from just a few days ago. But I've noticed that people I've spoken to about it irl are really chill and when I watch Boris every day he is too... it's just people on tibb/twitter/fb/social media that aren't

That's good everything's staying the same, at least it's not getting worse atm Hopefully things start returning back to normal too! I feel like the craze over corona is already slowly dying down even though the number of people getting it keeps increasing pretty significantly Just a matter of time

Just don't let it be alcohol you celebrate with, you're doing good with that

Sksk NOT work shoes I pretty much wore rags and instead of a desk & chair I was just on a couch with a random glass table we have in that room Yeah but for me I honestly prefer just going in to work after today's experience I don't mind my co-workers and it's less distracting / less of a headache than trying to work at home. I also prob worked more at home cause I was paranoid about when my boss/co-worker would walk by the computer without knowing where they are.

Setting up in my living room was NOT the best idea tho lol. The MAIN positive thing is I got to wake up a bit later and didn't have to bother traveling there & back Yeah same hours pretty much (8 hours, around 10-6 but a bit earlier today since I was awake and just had to get my laptop on & connected)

Oh and Boris basically said that everything is staying the same here as of today, only thing that happened was that some tube stations have been closed down.

To celebrate I REAAAALLY want a ciagrette/weed or something

I was reading an article earlier about working from home during corona saying that you should have a special desk away from your room and wear work shoes etc etc I can imagine it being soooo weird though because it's where you always chill out and do whatever you want rather than being focused on something. I think it'd be so cool to work from home though just because it's so much easier/you don't have to be around people all day.

Looool corona creating new experiences Are you just doing your same hours/day set out in the same way but at home instead of the office then?

First few hours of at-home work: sooo sooo weird I'm like relaxed chilling on my couch while working but at the same time I get SO many distractions from family/TV/etc lol I also feel more paranoid about slacking off than I do when I'm actually at work because idk who's ever around my computer. Apparently one of my co-workers (and my boss) are still at the office now because he helped get me connected by turning on my work computer this morning.

On an at-home lunch break right now tho. Also strange

It might just be with staying in a hostel then It feels like quite a strong community vibe with the situation going on and like everyone's all in it together. Outside though is a bit different I guess, although from what I've seen here the workers in shops/restaurants I've spoken to seem to not take it seriously at all

Eh idk really, I think my mom is getting in my head too much about it bc it's not realistic for them to stop ALL travel around the country (and it would kinda be essential too because I'm lowww on money) to go back next month. I just want to delay it as much as possible because it's gonna be so depressing again going back there ugh

Sksksk that's a bit how I feel although I just put mooost of my focus on the phone call so I was focused enough.

Over here it kinda feels more like people are just more on edge & scared to be around each other and separating. But yeah tbh I get what you mean @ people not being against each other at a time like this/not having hate for people etc, that's really nice Things like this do kinda unite people.

Also @ your message from before that I just read up on: "I'd have to try and work something out to stay here for a month or so, because with the situation when I DO go back home it really could be for a long time now."

Why is that? Will they not be letting people even travel around through the country or something? MESS if this keeps getting worse until mid-summer.. crazy

Looool that sounds like a whole lot of messy situation all put together When people talk to me when I'm watching/doing/listening to something I get distracted so easily and usually end up not being FULLY into either one and then know nothing after

Yeahhh I get you, they're saying that here as well and for like 2 weeks if someone in your house has symptoms

Idk if it's just me though or not but I've found over the last couple of days I've felt like being so nice to everyone because of the whole drama in the world right now and it's just... different? Usually people are so against each other but it feels like everyone is coming together at the moment and I'm kind of here for it
