Damnnnn that sounds like a crazy day for you So that was just your work company's own decision then? Makes sense especially as your co-worker has a fever Hopefully your friend & his fiancé are okay though too and don't have it... It might just be something more minor bc it seems like something like that is going around too right now. NOT your boss reading through our convos on ha lunch break

Nothing major here today except for Boris is closing all schools from Friday. A bit worried if the country goes into lockdown what happens to the hostels though

Oh the only thing that sucks about the work from home is that my boss will be able to see exactly what I'm doing while connected whenever he's around the office so idk how much I can slack off.

I will respond to this later but today has been HECTIC for work/coronavirus. I'm officially going to be working home for at least a week or two, haven't gotten an exact amount of time from my boss yet. Something might even get announced by Trump eventually this week tho. Setting up everything I needed on my laptop today. Work from home starts tomorrow. It's literally a program that'll connect me to my work computer from home and imma take home all documents/bank statements etc. that I'll need to work on.

But a co-worker took off today for the second time this week and apparently has a fever so that's sketchy. Also my friend AND his fiance both woke up today having the same symptoms & a fever so they went to the hospital a couple hours ago. Hope they don't have it but I haven't gotten any updates since then. Craaazy day of corona scare madness

Yeah a lot of the time. I always text with them after but if you're in a different area/location then it's definitely harder to keep the contact going. I used to be really sad when people left but now I'm so used to it that it's just normal to me so I move on pretty quickly I guess the nice thing about relationships is that you know someone's always gonna be there and you know when something random/funny happens in the day and you want to tell someone... that kind of thing. But overall I'm definitely not good at relationships and for so long I've been terrible at showing appreciation/affection and that causes all sorts of problems when you're receiving all the compliments and never give any back

Relationships are so much stress/pressure a lot of the time which I can't be bothered with, but like I said I reckon that's bc of the guys I've been with mostly. Like besides my ex's, the only person I felt a strong connection with was this guy from Chicago and I definitely would've dated him but he wasn't around for that long. But we were so close people in the hostel asked if he was my bf He was soooo hot and chilled out and funny and we spent pretty much the majority of our days together just hanging out/going places.

Yeah exactly like that, but no it's actually just random that I'm into US country scene... well because of Taylor Swift originally tbh

Awww that's so nice It sounds like you all have a really good/close connection that you're gonna keep for life. I don't really think there's anyone like that with me because I've moved around so much and I wouldn't say I have best friends or anything like that, just casual friends.

I'm pretty bad with maintaining either if I'm honest bc I'm so lazy with bothering to actually hang out with people (unless we're staying in the same place) It's strange because what you're saying I actually relate to cus I've never been the type to actually want a relationship... like when there's someone I've felt a really good connection with I've never realistically thought in my mind like "omg I wanna date" or something, we've just continued to hang out and it's sort of led to it yknow?

Btw with your friends do you hang out with certain friends for a period of time, then kinda distance from them and start hanging with new friends? I'd imagine it's tough moving to different hostels a lot Maintaining a relationship is prob easier in that sense like especially if you move in together so you can settle down with them.

Ah I'm the opposite, I maintain friendships so much better than relationships and I even kinda always unite my friends to where we're all close individually now I'm so much more of a joking friend-type than like romance/sentimental etc. and my relationships just never work out yet I've kept some friends for life basically I think it does depend on people you're with tho, like I haven't dated the best girls or had the right connection but I clicked with some of my friends like immediately. I'm not like the stereotypical "bro" but still I'm def more of a bro-down kinda guy. Like the BR-BR-BRIGADE

Sksk I've only seen areas like that in movies But there are areas like that down south for sure.

We allllllll gonna get that damn coronavirus

Ahhh wait so is English countryside kinda like that classic country vibe with farms & fields & stuff? And is that why you like the US country vibe?

Yup unless it was a trip with just family I think I've been to every AC trip with at least 1-2 of them, then some others sometimes but like last time we went it was all 5 of us, the one's fiance and this other girl that we're all friends with (good friend of my friend). Like we have different group texts/chats and everything so we always setting stuff up together for hangouts & plans. And yeah his fiance hangs out with us a lot of the time. Although when we're over his house she's usually kinda in the kitchen or cleaning for some of the time.

It's on a main road with like other houses around but not right next to, like a couple of minutes walk away to each one or something... but just surrounded by green fields, farms and side lanes etc. We don't even have pavements on the side of the road because nobody walks there

Yeahhh that's a bit worrying, this Aussie guy who's in my room came here with a cough and I was a bit skeptical of it. Mine got better throughout the day but I've definitely gotten a cough now too but no fever or anything else so maybe it's like a mild version of corona
