That's sooo lucky to all live so close by and to be such good friends still. Are they the people you usually go to AC with too? And for the guy with the fiancé, does she ever hang out with y'all or just like do her own thing? I've always found that I've never been able to maintain friendships as well as a relationship... but maybe that's because of the people I've been with

MESSSSS @ the sore throat! Mine went away pretty quickly thankfully, I feel fine now. A co-worker of mine was out yesterday and then came back in today and she still seems sick so that's kinda worrying She says no fever tho

What kind of place is that only having buses once a day? Damn

Yeah so out of like my 4 closest friends, 2 of them live within around a 10 min walk away (they're also my 2 closest friends since we were young) and all of us live close.. same city, one in a neighboring city. One of them is still living with his parents & sister/her boyfriend, two moved out to their own apartments but still close, and one lives in the side apartment of his family's house with his fiance (he's the one who I always get weed from and usually when there's a group hangout that's where we'll go, it's a good spot and he knows how to throw a party/hangout ). Others I hang out with more randomly/occasionally do live a bit further for the most part.

And omg that's craaaazy tho, is it just ONE house like in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a ton of fields? Or a block/blocks of multiple houses but then there's usually no one outside and nowhere to go for miles?

It actually is The buses only go once a day as well so there's not really much point in using/relying on them

It's the same here, with most places it's pretty easy to get to a station/shop/bar etc or at the very least an off-license on the corner of the road or something. And basically all hostels are in really convenient locations which is good. I can't imagine now like not being able to go out and get/do something just whenever I feel like it And also you can't really go out at midnight where I live at home either because you'd literally see no-one and that's sooo creepy to me

Yeah I live in a town where like even if I don't drive I could walk less than 5 mins to get to a bunch of little stores/shops/parks/everything I need. Reeeally convenient! Also blocks away from some of my closest friends too

The hostel is a short walking distance to a lot of places? I'd definitely prefer that over going back home too then

One of our messiest rules is “don’t go out for unnecessary social interaction” like why are pubs still open then? And we got basically “try not to shop for food and essentials but going outside to exercise is okay” if you’re self isolating lmaoooo

Yeah basically... sooo many people in a confined space. I stayed with my friend for a week and I’m at another hostel now and it’s REALLY nice here. Lots of English speaking people I keep thinking about that poor old man in my last one though if corona gets him

Yeah definitely it’s baaaad. Like I literally have no friends there/anyone to hang out with except for my parents And idk what I’d even do all day because the closest shop is a 2 hour walk away so I’d just be stuck... and walking all around fields... nooooo

Do you live rly close to like a town? Or do you just use the car anyway??

Yeah it was no more than 50 here as well but then my co-worker said they've changed it to no more than crowds of 10 now MESS at 30 people by the bar. If someone gets it it's OVER Don't you live in one with a lot of older people too?? Or have you switched since then?

More than 10 I think it's like more than 50 here lmao. But yeah it's gonna **** people over so bad if like their work places shut down and they don't get paid for it. I saw that Virgin Atlantic said that their staff should take 8 weeks off unpaid

Quiteee a lot... I mean just in the bar alone this evening there were like 30+ people in there. Hostels would be one of the worst places for it tbh Nahhhh I don't wanna go home yet because I'd have to stay there for a while with the whole corona thing going on... and that's gonna get hella depressing after a few weeks or so

Yeah I think I heard they said people shouldn't gather with any more than 10 people at all times to limit spreading. I believe bars have not officially all been shut down and restaurants are done after 8 PM and I think most/all only allow takeout now rather than dining in. It's craaazy for sure Businesses will probably be next (and hopefully, as long as there's a way to still get paid)

Ahhh her being worried How many people live at your hostel tho? Hopefully no one gets it there because I'd imagine it'd spread like crazy at a hostel You don't feel like going home?
