It could be worse I guess!

It’s not like that for me with American accents, I find them all pretty easy to understand but some of the British are definitely difficult.

He was in different areas I think rather than just specifically at AC. Also another guy who works here showed me pictures of when he went to NYC last year and it looks amazing

Also have a GREAT time at AC, win some money :clap1

That's good you still have company you like to be around tho, hope they make it easier for you

It's actually so hard for me to understand so many accents from there, unless it's someone who speaks loud yet slow. I used to have to rewind BBUK all the time if I wanted to understand parts properly

Borgata is one of the casinos that are separated from the boardwalk so maybe he mixed the names or maybe he traveled over to hang at the boardwalk while there like me & my friends like to do (esp in the spring/summer when everything's open). That's great he liked it there and yeah the boardwalks are great for skateboarding (never done it but the way they're built is perfect for skateboarding)

Yeah I'm back in one of my favourite hostels. Already met soooo many cool people, it's a great group right now. Of course I'd rather be staying with my bf though </3

I had to google who Andrew BB18 was and I still don't know Irish accents can be pretty hard to understand sometimes though. Even for me Northern ones are (Liverpool, Manchester etc) if they're really strong.
Ahhhh that's hilarious, I find that I feel different ways at different times. Sometimes I just wanna stay in bed and other times I want to hang out with/talk to people.

It sounds really nice The guy was quite a fan of it there and he likes skateboarding and he was showing me videos of like him and his friends skateboarding on the boardwalks in a few places which looked amazing.

That's awesome @ stuff I told you about AC being useful in convo IRL Eh Hoboken isn't that nice tbh but there's a lot to do there. It's a decently well known city tho and people that are near enough tend to like hanging out there. Some good bars & restaurants in particular around, I've been there plenty of times, so that's pretty cool someone in the UK is praising it Only complaint from me is it's so crowded and parking spaces are so small/limited, it's very overpopulated lol.

That's a nice chilled out area/view already! I'm feeling the vibe, reminds me so much of America compared to other places you've showed me. I can imagine it looking even better being dark and seeing all the lights in the distance and stuff tho Btw you back in a hostel now?

"Irish friend who used to talk so fast with an accent that was hard to understand" -> Me with sooo many people when I was watching BBUK lol... Andrew from BB18 immediately came to mind, was it like that? Nnn that guy seems like he's on something stronger But one of my pretty good friends tried weed for the first time not too long ago and tbh he kinda had that kind of reaction.. moreso he was laughing kinda maniacally at stuff Also I agree actually I do also have times I'm high where I'll just talk less and space out a bunch etc. Depends

Also last night I was speaking with this guy (he's British but his mom and stepdad live in NYC so he goes there a bit) and he stays in Long Island and he's been to NJ and said this place called Hoboken is really nice. He's also been to AC and he was describing it and talking about one of the places which he couldn't remember the name of and I asked if it was Borgata and he said yes which I only knew existed because of you

I don't actually know who that is, but that's really sad

Exactly, I'll never get over it

This is a picture of the view (it looked SO much better irl though and at night it was stunning):

I'm actually like that too. When I smoke I feel like talking less though... I had this Irish friend who used to talk sooo fast and talk a lot with an accent that was hard to understand everything he was saying and I just couldn't keep up
We had this flavour that didn't taste anything like tobacco at all in our shisha and it was amazing. I also went to a shisha bar once with this African American guy and I was the only white person there
Ahhhh it's crazy watching people sometimes... there was this guy who used to smoke weird every day and he legit just used to look at the window and laugh
