I think I've actually used 'take' before just because other people use it and words/phrases are quite catchy to me. Eg. non-English speakers say things like "for me I think..." and I've caught myself saying that **** SO many times

It should be "I'll DO that quiz later"

Take does make no sense based on the meaning of the word tbf I don’t think I’ve ever heard “have a shower” used in person tho

Also I’ll TAKE that quiz/survey later

Yeah it's obviously 'have' Saying 'take' sounds like you're gonna pick it up

Pretty much the same here too, it's so much that it's usually cooler inside than out

Gonna take a shower is the RIGHT way How do you say it then? “HAVE” a shower???

And yeah it depends, sometimes a light breeze or sometimes just really dry/humid air (that feels like no air) rangu:

Lmao is it you guys who say "I'm gonna TAKE a shower"? I always hear non-British people saying this, especially ones who are learning English from a different country and I think where the hell did they get that silly phrase from

Does it get like really heavy air/humid with you? It's quite like that here in the summer and it's awful When there's a breeze and no sun it can be okay be that's not that often tbh. I miss my fan so much </3 I had one last year but it was annoying taking it from place to place

I legit don’t think I’d survive a summer without air conditioning. I’d probably try to stay outside as much as possible for the fresh air at least (in a shaded area) and then just stand in front of a fan when I am inside

Yeah idk how I will handle it when I have to be up to work or something Especially on the ****ing tubes/buses, it's actual hell. Once you're asleep it's okay but then you wake up absolutely BOILING which is the bad part
