Of course I was like "I don't thiiiink so, but anyway everywhere has some good and bad places" like London has some absolutely trashy areas (ironically we are staying in one at the moment ) and good areas so I guess people are selective about what they want to focus on. Jealous haters!

Honestly have no idea about it tbh As far as I knew I thought most or even all of their pay came while they were serving but I could eaaasily be wrong. I’ve never known anyone (close) in the military before.

Oh that sounds quite cool, I always wanted to do something like assistant work but with less responsibility like making cups of tea or showing people to a room.

Also do you know anything about the military there? Like after they come out do they get paid hella money? Because there is this American guy (he's 32) who says he gets £3,000 a month (when he's in UK, more if he's in USA) for being a veteran but I'm a bit sceptical

Loool my position is an administrative assistant. I basically do the prep/ground work for the accountant all year round and when I’m less busy with that I help the estimator by going on this website that has jobs/projects for the company (flooring company) and downloading/combining the paperwork, drawings, etc. for projects that actually match the criteria that our company would work on. Also plenty of excel work and little tasks involving scanning and stuff like that. It’s kind of a lot but at the same time not bad/hard work at all
