Tbf jam/jelly is a pretty popular add-on to biscuits as well so you should try that and see what the differences are with the same topping

I don't usually eat them with gravy (maybe a few times; and it's still good though). I actually prefer them plain but while eating something else with it as a meal.

Yeah, the biscuits here are different that's why They're like pretty soft & fluffy (sometimes/usually a bit crisp on the exterior) and savory/buttery etc.
