There is lots of transport in London, so much that sometimes I think the buses are quicker as they have their own lane But tbf most people use public transport. I realize that kind of contradicts itself, but there's just traffic everywhere.

Yasss that's good to know I'd love to go around Xmas time, it just looks sooo prettyy.

Yeah, idk what it's like in the UK but yup toooooo many cars here and the public transport does suck. Someone I knew from a class in college actually moved from Nashville and he had high praise for it. Nashville is in Tennessee btw.

I can vouch for NYC being great.

Good choice I'd say Also I've heard that the public transport in America is nowhere as good as London, like most people use cars. Aaaand the portion sizes are a lot bigger in America

Hmm I'm not sure of what the states are, but the main places I'd like to see are Nashville (for the country music scene), NYC (obviously), LA and Miami. And so many more too interest me

Probably Cali... check out some of those big cities and see what it's like on the west coast. Plus there's certain food chains I'd like to finally try out that are typically only around in California it seems. But the only thing is I probably couldn't stand the traffic around there even if it was only for like a few days visit.

If you do travel to the US what states are you planning to go to?

Yeah true, I mean I can tell if somebody is Northern/Southern or from the Midlands but the actual location is pretty hard to know.

Haha I guess it's so big though so it's kind of understandable. Where would you like to go the most?

No to me Southern accents, particularly in Texas, are pretty different. Although I guess just when they have a strong Southern accent. I guess it's similar to UK accents being different in different locations though.

Also lol @ him traveling to New Jersey of all places and I haven't even been to states like Texas, California, Florida, etc.

Yeah it's crazy how many differences there actually are Not only in the words but often the pronunciation too.

There was also a girl a while ago here from Seattle, but honestly all American accents sound pretty much the same to me. Maybe from the South they are a bit stronger or something? Yeah it's one of the main places I've heard about. I mentioned I knew someone from New Jersey and he said he'd been there before too

Of course it's a trash can.

That's hilarious though, I love the differences between languages in different countries.

But yeah I'm nowhere near Texas. Also Texans have a whole unique accent of their own. Great state even though I've never been there. One of the biggest.

Omg so there's an American guy staying at my hostel!!! I love his accent haha. He lives in Texas, I think that's pretty far from you though? He's really funny and cool and we've been discussing a lot of the different words in English/American language. Like he calls the rubbish bin the 'trash can' for example.
