Yeah, my cousins all have young kids and we've been debating whether to buy for them or not just because it adds up so quickly, especially when you have immediate family and friends etc to buy for as well

Same though, Christmas is my favourite time of year (and the weather)

Yup, kind of a Christmas but without the presents. Although I'm sure some people give each other gifts on Thanksgiving too but not any that I know of personally. These days I kinda prefer a holiday with no gifts since I have so many little cousins/nieces/nephews lol... And I like giving to them but Christmas = me broke.

But I love the holiday spirit of Christmas more than anything else (even though I feel like there's less and less every year)

It sounds like my kind of event

    You basically get two Christmases

Thanks! And yeah, definitely one of the biggest holidays in the USA. I always celebrate it with a bunch of family members (which I'm about to go do soon) and eat a whole bunch of food.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We don't celebrate it here but I'm pretty sure everybody in USA does

Yeah, I've liked him a lot since the beginning but I was starting to feel he was getting a bit irrelevant/unused in the beginning. Then he shined during the past two weeks IMO.

Yeah the premiere was probs the worst ironically. It's definitely an interesting cast and has got a lot of potential, there are quite a few bores (but you get that every season tbf) but I think the stars are making up for it. Jay literally rocketed in my rankings last week.

Yeah I'm liking it. I felt like a majority of the episodes have been great with just a few duds (like the premiere). I'm also reeeeally looking forward to seeing how it plays out from here. As of now it's an above average season for me.

Yeah I kinda figured it would be like that (rip-off version). I have checked the threads now and again just out of curiosity because I've seen stuff about it on Twitter, but just seeing a load of different names doesn't mean much.

Are you enjoying Survivor this season?

Lately I've only been keeping up with results (who's being nom'd & evicted) and watching the one weekly episodes. It's not awful but I don't really like it. It doesn't feel like the vintage BBUS format with all the voting involved... and at best it's a very bootleg, low budget version of BBUS. The characters are alright but not much was going on when I last watched more than just the episodes.
