Totally, like one of my friends HATES when the football is on in a pub and complains about it constantly (I just don't like how LOUD people get when it's on tbh otherwise it's fine) But I always find myself just casually watching/getting into it. Literally same. Can hold a convo with almost anyone after a few drinks (which is why I like to often/mostly drink when out with other people than just my close friends). Everything's more interesting too, everything's more fun in general so like even that home drinking you love does make sense to me.

I think he was preeetty popular with the public but he's not so much in like online forums from what I can gather (doesn't seem too hated or anything either). He's def super well liked & popular with the BB alumni tho cause they know talent the most I guess. And lol one of my friends watched the episode now already and WILL be keeping up with this season for sure. Hopefully it's a good one and Enzo lasts a long while (/wins)!

OKC is tough but once it hits the playoffs they may be outmatched by some of the best teams. Like even now, the best teams aren't really giving it their all / sitting out players at times or for part of games that they normally wouldn't etc. (just pacing themselves). Would be crazy if they just continue to turn it up like this when you become a fan of them tho

Yuuup so many times I'm not even paying attention to a game at a restaurant/bar/etc. and then I notice how good/close it is and get so into it for the finish anyway. Sports are just so good for easy entertainment like that. (esp with $ on the line tho I feel like more & more I need $ on the game to enjoy it properly nnnn). Ahh 100% like BBUS8 was my first season and it hooked me but then in hindsight it's like one of the seasons I'd rank near the bottom.

Oh I assumed every team would play each other at some point But yeah similar to any other sports there are def shocking wins a bunch of the time and people don't really expect/assume it's gonna happen. I'm feeling more confident about my OKC to slay more of their games though tbh

Yep I like that about sports, it's easy to just go in and out of. And like sometimes it's so easy to even get really into a game halfway through or whatever (happened to me so many times with background sports on in pubs). Yeah exactly that, everything was new/interesting with different housemates & things happening on the show in the beginning. I guess I still feel pretty excited by BBUSA (maybe again because it's newer to me & I haven't been watching for as long as many) and no BBUK this year either </3 Same though, I got soooo into most (older) series but looking back now I'm kinda like "eh it wasn't even that good"

Yeah any of these gambling games are just so fun / such a thrill but even better gambling with your own money (or can be worse when losing ). I feel like you get too stressed about it when gambling with your own $? (at least with casino type games)

Ohhh damn not y'all morphing into America with the guns! These are crazy times rn in general and yeah that must be what's causing these crazy nightmares etc. Sometimes I kinda want dreams for the entertainment factor of it but then I also enjoy peaceful sleeps. And I'm a pretty strong sleeper too like I RARELY wake up at all in the middle of the night I think you said you keep waking up constantly? (but idk with no aircon in summer heat I'm sure I would too nnn )

Oh I can tell you love drunk chatting It just makes it so much easier to socialize & wanting to have all kinds of convos when out with people, even those you aren't really familiar with (or brand new people met) where otherwise I likely wouldn't make much effort.

This is bringing me all the way back to my first days watching! I even texted in my friends' group text about him returning because I got a few of them into the show during seasons 12-14~ (varied, one of them gave up early on in 15 I think). Basically they liked it because of Enzo/the Brigade too then got sick of it so they're pretty hype about the return too & idk they might give the show another chance now. Enzo is the GOAT.
