Ohh I've prob been to like 10+ lol (prob even more since I was young but like 5 within the past few years). Just too many between family & friends (many even distant family & none of my close friends are married yet) so I'm kinda over them I just feel obligated to go most of the time esp those where my whole family is involved with. But still, they're not the WORST or anything they can still be a lot of fun

Yeah tbh if you're used to the outright betting you should just go with that as betting something you're not used to can be disastrous. Maybe try to hit on one of the upsets happening as they're pretty common for sure Yup even a 1/25 favorite lost today it's crazy

Oh yeah I've been meaning to mention that @ parlays. Like the amt of times I've gone like 6/10, 3/5 etc. if I just went for parlay combos I'd prooobably actually be losing $ with the sports betting rn instead of ~+$200. Exactly why I never liked doing parlays. But for some reason I'm kinda liking it with darts & MLB (despite not winning **** with MLB until the past 2 days finally lol).

My team is Trail Blazers since my Knicks are out of it. They actually just got a NICE upset win a few mins ago. I should've been biased and went for them in a bet () but tbh I would've leaned towards Houston winning that one (even with -4 for the spread bet) so I just wanted to enjoy the game without $ on the line and root for my team and it was a GOOD one And I don't HATE your OKC team Just not a team I've ever really rooted for sksk There are certain teams I hate like the LA Lakers, Houston Rockets & others just cause of some of the players etc. OKC is just a bit of a boring team lol

Ahhh NOT having a better chance with outright betting It's kinda opposite so iiidk still if you get it fully yet loool Like if you bet an underdog with + points, it's actually not possible to win that bet less often than an outright bet (the only thing is it's smaller return but still so worth it for the safer bet). And if you're going for a favorite with - points then yeah it's tougher tbf buuut the returns for an outright bet on favorites are usually so weak that again I think point spread is more worth it long-term. You'll win those a bit less often but the returns are much nicer @ about 9/10ish odds.

Yeah tbh I think it actually pays off to go for so many in a day (especially when most are single bets and not parlays) bc it looks like it works out pretty well overall. Might even be possible to do something like that in darts with the under/over legs/180's etc but I don't think I would risk it anyway Tooo hard to call. Yeah you should stick to NBA

Lmaoo I guess I've only been to like 2(?) before I think and quite a few years ago too so I wouldn't mind going to others but probs unlikely any time soon/at all since I wouldn't go to families anyway & most of my friends are not even in relationships

Hmm maybe I would try it one time and see how it went, like I feel as though I've got a better chance when outright betting on a game but tbh they lose enough times anyway so probs wouldn't even make much difference Omg NOT you not liking my OKC team </3 So wait who is your #1 team this season??

Yeah I get what you're saying there. I guess I don't mind underdog picks so much bc if I'm going for £5 profit (usually) it means I can just bet/lose less to begin with when sooo many times the 'obvious' wins/favourites don't work out anyway. Mess the Bucks lost the game overall? The ones with 1/25 odds? Maybe this season is good for underdog/least favourite betting then esp since there have been players out/changes and stuff

Yeah usually money or gifts but people tend to give $ at the ones I've been to and that's what I've done. More costly than the fun (and free food/drinks) is actually worth tbh. Like they can be a nice vibe for sure but overall I prefer just not having weddings to go to lol

    Ahh saaaaame!

The point spread bets? They def work out more over time than regular betting, like atm I'm doing decent/kinda average BUT I'm still managing to profit most days and not have awful losing days besides like once I think which is the key. I mean it's fairly equal tho, sports gambling is more of a slow grind for profits in general, like consistently going 6/10, 5/7, 3/5 etc. will make for good results by the end of a season if you don't start suddenly doing awfully which is the main thing I'm always trying to avoid ofc. I'll take these small profit days as often as I can get them even tho I know I can do better when I'm in a groove with it (I kinda am with NBA but I'm flopping overall with MLB which I may need to stop trying lol, I'm just taking guesses there pretty much)

Yeah regular bets just feel so not worth it to me for underdog picks. Maybe it's because I'm used to pt spread where you have more incentive to bet underdogs (worse return but much better chance of winning frequently with those extra points). Tbf the NBA has been pretty unpredictable so far too, I've just been good/lucky with mostly avoiding the games with surprises (like I almost did want to bet Bucks -17.5 today and then they LOST the game nnn). Another big upset happened right after it but that one I kinda even saw coming (almost bet Phoenix +9 anyway but decided to just avoid that game, but I lost betting Under in it anyway </3). There's been shock results every day but I've still managed to do ok with some profit so far.

Yup & one of the Grizzlies' two best players just got injured yesterday for the rest of the season so they're pretty ****ed (They're gonna be + pretty often as underdogs now so you should really get into point spread betting IF you do want to bet them in future! The + may help as I'm sure they can at least keep certain games close). Grizzlies are a really young team tho with future potential and they're like a gritty / hard fighting team. I prefer them over OKC actually for who I'd root for without any betting involved
