Just think of all the greater possibilities that the Uni life has for lie ins and day time tv though, makes it all worthwhile

Yeah it's a shame but tbh my friend who did the same course as me and then a masters has just managed to get the same type of job as me only five months later. So in terms of getting jobs it's not that difficult it's just he's probably paid more than me because of a damn MA after his name

Yeah definitely stick with the uni mindset because tbh I think I'm going to struggle a lot getting back into writing essays and doing 'extra reading' and research. Ugh the thought of it makes me sick haha

Ah fair enough, guess thats the way of the world these days, can be hard to get places without the right slip of paper, suppose a year of annoying Uni work will be worth it though once you get it out the way

Yeah I would just carry straight on to a masters I think, thought about a year out but then it would be hard to get back into the Uni/studying mindset after I think. Ha yeah I would really like to get one, just the exam I'm a bit worried about, I hate how much percentage of the mark the exam always is

Yeah I'm going to need to get a masters to get a better job/more pay. It's annoying because there's no actual reason to get one when I could just work for years and prove myself that way. I don't want to have to go through with another 2 years (part-time) of uni but it needs to be done. I'd really like to stay in my job for the long-term because I'm learning a lot and enjoying it.

I'd recommend a masters asap and not to wait for it, get it over and done with. I wish I had done that now. Mate if you can get a first that would be incredible, I don't know about your course but we only had one person get a first in ours so it's not only great bragging rights but it's gotta put you ahead of others career wise; especially if you get a masters! You'll have an undergrad and masters before me lol

Ah really, is a masters needed to progress higher in the planning world or something? Least you're enjoying the work I guess though, so it's like an industry you know you wanna stay in would you say?

I think I also will be doing a masters next year lol, in history, even though it's all a bit stressful atm I'm still finding it really interesting so I would like to go even more in depth with it. I'm hoping to push for a first now, I've been doing enough so far this year to get one but it'll all depend on how my dissertation and big summer exam turns out probably. If I just miss out though and get a high 2:1 I won't be disappointed

Ah my least favourite part of uni was the stressful months at the end. Really put me off ever wanting to go to uni again... But I've recently been looking into doing a masters this year... How are you doing with your modules anyway? What do you think you'll end up getting overall?

Things are going alright thanks, just really knuckling down at work and enjoying it still. Got my planning head on; even enjoyed watching the planning programme that was on the beeb recently; very Stroud focused!

Aye can't complain, getting to the stress end of the degree but its good stress I suppose because it means I'm getting things done and have a sleep/work pattern more akin to a normal human being

    How's things?
