Yeah you really can't just keep sticking with the favorites in baseball because even the best teams lose 1 every 3 times & the returns for those other 2/3 prob won't be that great when they're heavily favored. It really is all tough. But point spread is so much better, it's just a really ****ty point spread format for baseball so I don't bother with that. It's always +/- 1.5 runs but so many games end by 1 pt difference & the odds get all mixed around (rather than a set ~5/6 odd for NBA) so it's all so random/unpredictable

So true, you really need to have short term memory for gambling/betting or else it REALLY ruins the vibe & start to get so pissed after the losses & unmotivated with it. But if you stay calm and make smart-ish decisions with the bets, it can really always turn around eventually and you make profits in the end (just stay away from casino which I might stay away entirely until literally whenever I go back to AC)

The international versions of the poker sites are sooooo good Just so many more people & more options / better software & everything. But yeah also there's probably only like 10% female poker players in the world, it's just always something guys get into not entirely sure why but it does make sense cause it's just something guys will often do even just hanging around from like a young age. Hmm idk I don't THINK they're doing any pre-season. Haven't heard of anything & they're continuing the season instead of just starting up. I know baseball was doing pre-season so maybe it was that? Not TOO sure what it was that you saw then might've just been their first season game

Yup + with cash games & the lil sit & go games I’m actually in a slight profit on that site atm (but only since tracking, still got a long way to go overall to just get even ffs). Also more people is a bit tougher but not THAT much tougher, like you still just need to focus on your table of 9 & doing well in it but it does take a BIT more time & effort than a smaller one

Just a guess but figured it was a good bet to the point where the promotion is to make a $5 bet but I doubled it to $10 (should’ve done $30 but I stick to NBA/NFL for those amts). The Yankees are just always great so somewhat one of the safest teams to bet. But the BEST teams in the league will win like 2/3 of their games in MLB so nothing’s guaranteed

Yup empty stadiums but there were two games yesterday, one of the teams put cutouts of actual people all over the seats to make it as if fans were around! & crowd noises. Tbf it was kinda unique & looked/sounded better than the empty seats in the Yankees game

Ahhh yeah there’s ways like that to get free entries / free money on my sites too Also “freeroll” tournaments, $0 buyin for everyone & the site gives away like $50, $100, $250 (diff amts) split between all the prizes. I don’t ever try them because too many people & too much effort for little $ but for someone new in the game & wanting to try / learn the game anyway it’s like why not try those. Do you know if poker sites over there have those freebies?

Yeahhh I’ll sit through 3 hours of a game no question & usually want to still watch more But I could see it getting exhausting for non-fans of the sport or like even I’ll get bored of it if I’m not in the mood for it that day. NBA games are 1 hour 30 mins to 2 hours -ish which is kinda perfect imo
