also Donal Logue isn't A-Lister at all, but still decently known, and the fact he appeared in the 300th anniversary of Murdoch Mysteries this year, another popular BBC show, makes me think of it having been strategic, his whole life story kinda is something what the strictly producers also love having, can also see him being a dark horse tbh, from badass in a tango, to his fun chill side in a party latin, or his emotional side in a ballroom
