...so I’m understanding the resistance against it, the term..?...

...so it’s not ‘woman’ who has decided and attached ‘cis’..that would maybe take away a feeling of control which has been fought so much for...a regression...?...is maybe how many feel ...obviously cis refers to male as well but ‘male’ has never felt or been suppressed in the same ways ....so less objection there..?...male has always had power, female hasn’t...that’s so recent really and it’s still ongoing struggle etc...

...so with feminism and progression in female rights etc...’woman’ has been associated in the past with suppression in society...so it has had to be ‘reclaimed’ by women and into something more positive and equal..?...woman is powerful etc, woman is not an accessory...woman is the outfit, the main thing...

...this is only my thoughts and pondering, not facts etc...

...I don’t really object in any way, whatever it would be...but what I’m thinking...because the n word was also mentioned ..so it’s about ‘re’claiming’ maybe, like with the n word and certain other words that associate suppression etc of past days...
