It's brand new! Channel 4 (the channel that used to have BBUK) invested a tonne of money into it and it's lowkey flopped, I hope it gets another series but I'm not sure if it will it's a daily show (Sun-Fri) on for 3 weeks so not too many eps! The final is on Monday

The strategy hasn't been as overt as it is on North American BB/Survivor, but it does appear in blips. So at one point there was a clear divide and someone was putting together an alliance, and at others people are making decisions with the final/prize money in consideration, like changing their approach/being nicer or whatever. It's been described as a cross between Big Brother and Gogglebox (if you know what that is) it definitely reminds me of early BB in the sense that it's a new, fresh social experiment

Basically 8 people live individually in an apartment block, and only communicate with each other through a specially designed social media site called "The Circle". Essentially they think/talk aloud, and dictate the messages they want to send to one another. They never meet*, and thus the tagline is "anyone can be anyone". Some people upload real pictures of themselves and act how they would normally, while others choose to catfish and pretend to be members of the opposite sex/younger/older/different sexuality. It's a game of social popularity with (as yet ) no public votes to determine who leaves. Every few days, they rate each other out of 5 stars, and usually the two highest rated players become Influencers and have to decide who to block
