Now you know more about their music, there's a chance you might be more open to their other styles? I know I was sucked into them thanks to their pop songs, and then I slowly grew to love the rap (and now the raps are my fave )

Yeah Tyler only raps because he has too much he wants to say and they'd be massive songs if it was all sung traditionally

Most songs will feature majority traditional song with one rap verse (see: Nico) or All rap verses and a sung chorus (see: heavydirtysoul). Some won't have any rap (see: Jumpsuit and Legend) but usually substitute it for something else (the screams in Jumpsuit, the personal tribute in Legend)

So the | is the Sink, the - is the rope and the / is Tyler. It's really heartbreaking, but I'm truly glad he's overcome that part of his life and is now chanelling it to help others.

Kitchen Sink is better the more you understand it? You wouldn't know from the song, but they've since revealed the 'Kitchen Sink' is how he tried to kill himself (attached a rope to the tap and leant forward, pretty much) so then the songs meaning just kind of explains itself?

Isle of Flightless Birds is from their self released album (when they had three Members and Josh wasn't even in the band ) so I understand it being 'ok'. A 2018 version would be lit though.

Holding Onto You is amazing yes

Guns for Hands is the most unanimously liked amongst fans, but non fans don't usually get it so I understand.

Kitchen Sink a slower tempo rap but super deep. I'm not sure if you'd like it but if you don't then don't tell be I'll hate you forever

Possibly Isle of Flightless Birds, Holding Onto You and Guns for Hands too. Levitate is their only 'all rap' song though a song far as I can remember.
