I personally think she's overrated? It's just a grimier, crowded version of London but with taller buildings!

It's my least favourite of the states I've visited so far. Cali > Texas > NYC

I don't think she spent any time there, just went through it.

She said New York was dirty, humid and congested and the people were rude.

My sister got back from New York yesterday (yeah, we're all going to America!)

She took a day trip to Washington DC and the coach drove through New Jersey.

I've watched the first two episodes and I need to watch the next ones today hopefully! I actually think it's going to be a good series.

First impressions I like Natalie, Ben, Roxanne and Ryan

It's nice but expensive (especially compared to Texas). It's a big / diverse state so there's a lot to see. We weren't even close to seeing / doing everything.

We avoided all the tourist trap Hollywood stuff like the Walk of Fame. We did hike to the top of the Hollywood sign though where you can see the city from above.

They have a Disneyland there which I'd love to go if I ever visit again.

The traffic is mental but Texas was pretty bad for traffic too so I think it's an American thing, y'all need to develop your public transportation!

12 days in each state.

We spent a few days in each of the major Texas cities (Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston) and then we flew out to LA and spent five days there before doing a road trip to SF on the pacific coast highway.

I loved both, but California was better. Much nicer scenery and weather (it was hot, but not as bloody hot as Texas) and I enjoyed the attractions more.
