Nah honestly Grand Central is massive and really well sign posted and full of attendants so you'd just ask someone which platform to get a train to the Exhibition Centre from, get off at Exhibition Centre, leave the station and you'll see this massive red pedestrian/cyclist bridge-walkway thingy that goes in the direction of the arenas, the walkway takes you out into the pedestrianised bit between the three arenas and there's only one road in/out of there so just keep walking straight ahead towards the main road and that's you at the Hilton!

If you wanna go get food first before you go to your hotel, or do it the other way round, then just exit Grand Central Station onto Gordon Street, turn right and keeping walking straight and there will be a TGI Fridays on your left hand side after crossing the road two or three times IIRC, and that's you on the corner of Buchanan Street the main shopping street xxxx

Yeah they're really close to each other (Grand Central Station and The Hydro) - pretty sure there's a shuttle service between them because there's an Exhibition Centre train station right beside the Hydro and the SECC - but if not then there's a taxi rank outside the station and Glasgow taxis are really cheap, doubt it would cost you more than a fiver to get to the hotel.

If you come out of the Exhibition Centre train station you basically just walk through the walkway tunnel thing which takes you down to outside the Hydro, the Armadillo (it looks like an armadillo or like the Sydney opera house kinda) and SECC and just walk between them towards the Squinty Bridge and this circular, domed, brick building, and then when you get to the circular brick building (it's got like 3 restaurants in it) you'll see the Hilton Garden Inn is the hotel across the road from it. Really simple!

There's one on Buchanan Street in the city centre, which is really close by! Ooh I feel like a tour guide

The Hydro is an amazing venue, it was where they hosted the MOBOs (I got a free ticket to go along!) and the acoustics were fantastic, you'll have a great night I'm sure!

It's practically on its doorstep haha, and it's a really nice hotel too! Definitely book a room there! And order a takeaway from Di Maggio's that's where I work
