So I was reading a bit more and I came across a statement by friends of the McCanns who'd been on holiday with them a year or so previous to the Portugal holiday and the wife made some allegations about David Payne and comments that sounded pretty dodgy in regards to his own daughter and Maddie, what do you make of that?

Yeah absolutely, God it's actually heart breaking thinking about that alone, nevermind what actually happened to maddie. I can't help thinking about one of my kids at that age saying that to me (not that I would ever have left them alone like that but you know)

Even if they didn't have anything to do with her being taken or whatever happened, they're responsible for not keeping her safe and should have been charged with neglect.

Yeah, strange. I still can't get passed them leaving the kids like that, not even kids, babies really. I just can't understand that mentality at all. I would have thought that when you go abroad with young kids, you just take them with you for dinner, have a few drinks back at the apartment if you want after they go to bed. It's sickening what they did, even if they weren't involved. I need to read all them links, thanks.
