Awww x The Falkland have been a self-governing British Overseas Territory for about two hundred years. The islanders want to remain British, which in my opinion is the most important consideration in any discussions about the future of the islands. However, Argentina has always disputed our sovereignty over the islands (they once governed them, as did France, but centuries ago). The Falklands are over 300 miles off the coast of Argentina; they are not in Argentinean waters. Argentina invaded in 1982 and we kicked them back out. Now they're making noises about the Malvinas (the rname of the Falklands) again. To complicate matters there is oil involved, making tensions between Argentina and the UK even more fraught. In a nutshell...

I'm not really sure what I want to do, and my mom doesn't put any pressure on me. I'd actually love to write, but I'm not sure, I'm pretty good at talking myself out of things and I've a somewhat fear of success.

I would like to study english, but I read enough, so I'm not as motivated as I was a few years ago about that.
