I’d definitely noticed a few of the references. I love how each part of the video is a different era. The first room was self-titled and regional at best, the garage was Vessel, the roof was Blurryface, the falling was the hiatus and they ended back in the first room with trench.

Other things worth noticing, the little prologue where he opens his chest, I suppose is a reference to their song ‘screen’ with the lyric ‘there’s a screen on my chest’ - which was also about the fans.

And the other thing, is that the plaid and checkered clothing represents the hype, the bands hype. At the beginning, it’s minimal, as they’re a small band. None of the fans are wearing any. And you’ll notice that as they get more popular, more people buy into them, there’s more plaid. They’re even buying into their own hype, as they’re wearing more and more plaid. But at the end, it’s all removed and the fans go, but they’re still the same people they were before.

Editing could’ve been better and I’m really confused with the story, but ... I liked it. And I love that all the extras were fans.

I'm debating whether to see it again Sunday! it's such a fantastic movie despite the criticisms yeah it would have been great if they had the expressions but i loved how realistic it looked! Already at 700mil at the box office and it's only been out 6 days
