Was discussing with my friend the other day about the tip thing in America... how much % is it that you have to leave? The thought of giving tips is NOT okay with me Mess @ the tax and tips coming to more than what a meal costs I had them a few times in Birmingham and every time it was good

Also we actually have a few American diners here. We've got Ed's Easy Diner but I've seen a few random/non-chain ones around too in places. The vibe is soooo cool/bright compared to any of ours

I saw one that was like 20p Proud to say that I've never paid for one though I usually just go to an off-license and get one for free. Imagine if you paid for one every time, you'd spend so much money on nothing

Wow that’s crazy. Basically here you can get all your loans for free if you never have a job that pays that much money back afterwards. I think the average wage here is like 18,000 or something per year but tbf I don’t know that much about it. MESS @ them tracking you down if you don’t pay, here they just cross your name off of the list after a specific number of years if you don’t pay it back
