Arsenal will drop more points by the end of the season. Mathematically its possible but I dont see it

MTVN 27-04-2023 09:05 PM

Will the gap between 1st and 2nd be bigger than the gap between 2nd and 3rd at the end of the season

Zizu 28-04-2023 05:16 PM

It’s gonna be fascinating end to the season

I haven’t given up on Arsenal as City have some tough games coming up and also play Real Madrid TWICE on top plus maybe Arsenal will now relax and get back to their best …

Then again they could completely capitulate and be overtaken by Newcastle ..

I also wonder if ManU will bottle 4th place especially if Liverpool continue to improve as they get key injured players back ..

Mmmm they are soooo spirited though .. that maybe the difference.

I’d be happy to see West Ham go down tbh
I can’t abide Moyse and that cowardly assault from Koufal on Jota made my blood boil

City are a great team, but Arsenal were making mistakes that were just basic imo.

I mean there were so many times that Arsenal would pass the ball into an area of the pitch where anyone with eyes could see Man City players were surrounding, but Arsenal would still launch a pass into those areas regardless.

Having said all of that, I do get that the Arsenal squad doesn't have the depth in quality that Man City has.

Tbf in that game didn't Liverpool get away with doing a Diego Maradona?

If Thiago wants to play Handball the Sport is out there for him to play it, instead of nearly costing his team the win.

True .. Arsenal guys are soooo young though so next season they will be considerably stronger especially if they can get Caicedo

I do wish this season would hurry up and be over. I'm looking forward to seeing Everton out of this disgusting league. Its something I've never experienced before. The Championship is where it's at.

Alf 28-04-2023 10:14 PM

Here's one for the Arsenal fans

Well the question mark will be can Rice up his game at Arsenal? I'm personally not sure he can.

I’d rather not think about bullyboy jogging around , crashing into tackles with his elbows out , pointing where he wants his teammates to pass to ( as they obviously can’t be trusted to decide for themselves) ..

Check out the recent breakaway Hammers goal where Bowen was sprinting up the right side … Rice is just behind him screaming and pointing to switch the player to the left … Bowen ignored him and just as he made a through ball Rice was throwing his arms around in disgust.. it turned out to be the perfect pass and the player scored ..

Palace v West Ham

3:2 to Palace ..

So far Capt Rice is MIA .. I’ve only seen him have TWO touches of the ball so far .. 52 minutes gone

Why on Earth do refs consistently fall for the trick of shielding the ball and falling over as soon as someone touches you ?

Zizu 29-04-2023 01:13 PM

4:2 to Palace mid 65 minutes

Rice didn’t even chase back to help the defence there.. isn’t that supposedly one of his strong points ?
